    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 透明電極と背面電極との間に発光層及び誘電体
    層を設けたＥＬパネルと、このＥＬパネルの発光
    面側に配設した可撓性フイルムを基板とする透過
    型の液晶パネルと、前記両パネルを共に被覆する
    防湿フイルムとを有し、前記ＥＬパネルの周縁部
    分が前記液晶パネルの少なくともリード引き出し
    個所を除く周縁部分より外方へ若干突出している
    ことを特徴とする表示素子。
