The present invention relates to a cloth diaper with excellent water absorption and sufficient durability for repeated use. Conventional diapers made of cotton cloth do not absorb enough water, so two or more diapers must be stacked.
Therefore, a large number of sheets were used per day, making washing and drying difficult. In order to solve this problem, there is a diaper in which a pad or the like having a large amount of water absorption is interposed between two pieces of cloth, and the edges of the cloth and the pad are sewn.
However, such products have a problem in that their flexibility is impaired and the edges touch the user's inner thighs, causing discomfort. Additionally, such diapers tend to fray at the sewn edges, resulting in poor durability. The purpose of this invention is to have enough water absorbency to use just one sheet at a time, to not cause discomfort to the user, and to be durable enough to be used repeatedly even after washing and drying. The idea is to provide large diapers. That is, according to the present invention, double weave parts are formed at the center and both sides, a single weave part is formed between these double weave parts, and a narrow width is formed in the center of these single weave parts. A base material made by folding back the single weave portion of the fabric on which the double weave portion is formed, overlapping the double weave portions on both sides with the double weave portion in the center, and knitting and weaving recycled fiber yarn in a lattice pattern. An intermediate sheet made by bonding natural fibers to the fabric is interposed between the double woven parts, and the peripheral edge of the intermediate sheet is sewn to the fabric layered thereon to integrate them, and the above-mentioned A diaper is provided in which a single-layer weave portion is folded back to form a bag-like shape, and a narrow double-weave portion at the center of the single-layer weave portion is positioned at the folded portion of the bag-like portion. The base material of the intermediate sheet is a recycled fiber yarn such as rayon yarn, and its thickness is preferably from No. 40 to No. 8. The base material is made by knitting and weaving this recycled fiber yarn in a substantially lattice shape with intervals of about 1 to 5 mm. A natural fiber, such as cotton cotton, is needle-punched and bonded to this base material to produce an intermediate sheet. Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. 1 is a developed view of a diaper fabric 1. Double woven parts 3, 3, 4 of a double woven structure with a predetermined width a are formed on both sides and the center of the fabric 1, and the double woven parts 3, 3 on both sides and the double woven part in the center are formed. 4, a single weave portion is formed between each. A double weave portion 5 having a width b narrower than the constant width a is further formed in the center of each of these single weave portions. These double weave structures have a thread density that is 1/2 that of other single weave structures, so
The fabric becomes softer and the thickness of the fabric doubles. The double weave parts 3 on both sides of the fabric 1 are folded over the double weave part 4 in the center as shown in FIG. At this time, the part of the double weave structure 5 in the center of the single weave part becomes a folded part and becomes both side edge parts of the completed diaper. The intermediate sheet 2 is inserted between the overlapped double weave parts 3, 3 on both sides and the double weave part 4 in the center. Then, the peripheral edge of the intermediate sheet 2 and the portion of the fabric 1 corresponding to the peripheral edge of the intermediate sheet 2 are sewn to integrate the intermediate sheet 2 and the fabric 1. In FIG. 2, the seams between the intermediate sheet 2 and the fabric 1 are indicated by reference numeral 6. In this embodiment, this seam 6 is located at the edge of the double weave portions 3, 4 of the fabric 1. Further, both open ends of the fabric 1 are sewn to complete the diaper. and fabric 1
Sew the open ends of the diaper to make a diaper.
The width of the intermediate sheet 2 is preferably the same width a as the double weave portions 3 on both sides and the double weave portion 4 in the center. The diaper of the present invention has excellent water absorbency because it has an intermediate sheet mainly made of cotton or other natural fibers in the center. Furthermore, since the double weave structure is further layered in three layers in the central portion, the fabric thickness is increased and the water absorbency is even more excellent. In addition, the single weave portion of the fabric 1 is folded back and placed in a bag-like state on both sides of the diaper, and since the intermediate sheet 2 is not interposed on both side edges, the both side edges are flexible. It does not cause discomfort to the user. In addition, in the present invention, since the double weave part 5 with a soft texture is formed in the center of this single weave part, this double weave part 5 is arranged at the folded part just after this single weave part. Therefore, the touch to the crotch area is softer, and even infants will not be injured in the crotch area. In addition, this diaper has no seams at the edges, which are the most likely to be damaged during washing, so there is no chance of the seams fraying, and a dense single-woven fabric is located on both edges. It has great durability. Next, the effects of the diaper according to the embodiment of the present invention and a conventional Japanese-style diaper made of hand-woven cotton cloth were compared.

[Table] Two conventional diapers were compared as a set according to the normal usage method. As you can see from this table,
The diaper of the present invention can absorb a large amount of water. In addition, the diaper of the present invention and a conventional Japanese-style diaper were compared in terms of washing and drying performance. 25,600 sheets (1 set of 2 sheets) when using a large washing machine Milna-450 lbs.
While the Japanese-style diapers had to be washed 14 times, 25,600 diapers of this invention were washed after only 8 uses. When drying using a 68kg tumbler dryer, the Japanese-style diaper was dried 57 times, while the diaper of the present invention was dried 44 times. As a result of repeated washing and drying in this manner, the Japanese-style diaper had a waste rate of 2.17% after washing and drying 46 times, and the waste rate was only 0.95% even after washing and drying the diaper of the present invention 105 times. Since the cotton lining of the intermediate sheet is also bonded to the base material, it can withstand repeated washing and drying and is not ubiquitous.
