Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously prepare a foamed sheet having a desired thickness from the beginning, by a method wherein several foamed discs formed by punching a plate-shaped foamed block molded by a press foaming method are bonded back to back to each other to constitute a columnar foamed block which is, in turn, continuously sliced from the outer peripheral surface thereof by a slice processing blade in a skin peeling way. CONSTITUTION:Several foamed discs formed by punching a plate-shaped foamed block 1 molded by a usual press foaming method by a press are bonded back to back to constitute a columnar foamed block 5. In order to obtain a long thin foamed sheet 6 from said block 5, the block is gradually sliced from the outer peripheral surface thereof through a slice processing blade 7 so as to peel a skin in a predetermined thickness. By this method, the foamed sheet 6 can be prepared continuously.

<Prior art> Conventional methods for manufacturing long and thin foams include a method of manufacturing a long foam sheet with a thickness of 2 to 10 cm by a continuous foaming method, and a method as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7. A plurality of plate-shaped foam blocks 1 with a thickness of around 40 mm manufactured by normal press foaming are bias cut at both ends to widen the joint surfaces, and then bonded and connected in order in a train shape to form a band-shaped sheet 2. Next, there is a method of manufacturing a long foam sheet of a desired thickness by cutting this belt-shaped sheet 2 horizontally at the center of the top and bottom with a cutter 3 and repeating this process many times. Ta.

<Problem to be solved by the invention> However, although the former method allows the production of long and thin foam sheets with a certain thickness in large quantities, it requires expensive equipment. At the same time, both physical properties and thickness are standardized, making it impossible to make detailed selections to suit a wide variety of uses, and the reality is that this practice is not practiced much at present. .

Next, although the latter method allows manufacturing small lots that meet a wide variety of uses, the entire product is bulky, and especially during the initial cutting process, the belt-shaped sheet 2 is thick as shown in the figure. It is inconvenient to handle as it cannot be rolled up, and requires a large space for processing.Furthermore, the desired thickness is achieved by cutting parallel and uniform slices in the upper and lower centers, and repeating the process many times. In order to obtain the final product, the thickness of the final product must be calculated accurately from the beginning and the process must be carried out accurately. If an error occurs during processing or if there is an error in the thickness due to distortion of the foam In some cases, there is a risk that many defective products will be produced, and processing requires extremely skill. Also, the sheet is processed while being stretched, but the direction of tension during processing is perpendicular to the bonding surface of the foam block. Moreover, there were many problems such as the adhesive surface easily peeling off (causing accidents).

Function> As described above, in the present invention, several foam disks formed by punching out a plate-shaped foam block formed by a press foaming method are bonded back to back to form a cylindrical foam block. Alternatively, use a crusher to crush foam scraps, rubber scraps, etc. to 2 to 8 N and mix them together with adhesive, then compress and dry them into a cylindrical shape to form a cylindrical foam block. manufacturing a foam sheet, in which a long and thin foam sheet is manufactured by continuously slicing the configured cylindrical foam block with a slicing blade in the same manner as peeling off the skin from the outer peripheral surface. With this method, foam sheets of a predetermined thickness can be manufactured one after another by slicing a cylindrical foam block from its outer peripheral surface to a predetermined thickness.

Next, to specifically explain an example of the second invention according to the present invention, in this second invention, scraps of foam, scraps of rubber, etc. generated by implementing the first invention etc. are pulverized. The cylindrical foam block is crushed by a machine to a diameter of 2 to 81 mm, stirred with adhesive, and compressed into a cylindrical shape to form a cylindrical foam block. A desired long and thin foam sheet can be obtained by slicing with a slicing blade.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, the method according to the present invention manufactures a foam sheet by slicing a cylindrical foam block from the outer peripheral surface, so that a foam sheet of a desired thickness can be produced continuously from the beginning. Moreover, the length and width of the foam sheet can be freely changed depending on the diameter and length of the cylindrical foam block, which can fundamentally solve the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks. It has characteristics.

Furthermore, in the first method of the present invention, the accuracy of the foam disk product can be easily obtained by cutting out the mold, and even if there is a deviation in the dimensions, the surface can be sliced in order with constant dimensions to ensure a smooth surface. It is possible to work stably, and foam disks can be constructed by sequentially gluing together pieces of various materials or colors. It is possible to manufacture a sheet, and since the foam disks are joined back to back, there is no risk of peeling off during processing, as in conventional methods.
