- 軸に設けられたシールカバーの内周にパツキン
グを介して装着されたシールリングと、ハウジン
グ側部材の内周にパツキングを介して装着された
シールリングが、前記両パツキングの反発力によ
つて互いに密接摺動するメカニカルシールにおい
て、パツキングとシールリングの間、パツキング
とシールカバーの間、およびパツキングとハウジ
ング側部材の間に、それぞれ所要数の凹凸係合部
を設けたことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
