Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably feed a paper and enhance the operability in setting the paper without increasing the number of component parts, by providing a paper clamp with a projected part for pressing the paper inward from the surface thereof, on the paper inlet side of the clamp. CONSTITUTION:A paper clamp 6 is provided with a projecting part 7 on the paper inlet side, whereby a paper 2 is pressed inward from the surface of the clamp 6, the wrapping angles of the paper 2 for a platen 1 and a tractor 4 are increased, and the paper 2 can be stably fed. With the paper clamp 6 thus provided with the projecting part 7 for pressing the paper 2 inward, a paper- setting operation can be completed by only opening and closing operations of the paper clamp 6, without requiring separate component parts or increasing the number of component parts.
