Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a combustion detector by providing a bottomed cylinder having smoothing holes at its bottom within a blast case which supplies combustion air, forming a part of the bottom part of the inner cylinder by a transparent plate, and providing smoothing holes in the transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:A large number of smoothing holes 5 are formed at the bottom part of an inner cylinder 4 so that air to be introduced into the inner cylinder 4 is distributed uniformly. Combustion air is mixed with a fuel supplied through a nozzle 6 and is ignited by an igniter 7, and forms a flame circumferentially uniform and stabilized by a stabilizer 8. Further, combustion air flowing via a blast route 10 passes through air holes 9 and is supplied to the flame stabilized by the stabilizer 8 to promote the combustion and to cause the burner to carry out a complete combustion. A part of the bottom part of the inner cylinder 4 is made of a transparent plate 12; smoothing holes are formed in the transparent plate 12.
