Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a combustion characteristic and expand a range of combustion by a method wherein small holes for introducing secondary air are made at a part ranging from a flame hole to an annular wall. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is gasified in a gasification cylinder 6, mixed with primary air supplied from a primary air passage 8, passes through a guide means 16 and is injected from flame holes 19 at the circumferential wall of a burner head 17. Secondary air 11 supplied from a secondary air passage 10 passes outside of the gasification cylinder 6, i.e. interior of a burner case 15 and is guided upwardly, a part of the secondary air passes through small holes 21 for secondary air made at a horizontal part 20a of an earth plate 20 and is flowed into a clearance batween the flame holes 19 and the annular wall 20b. Thereby, it is made possible to induce the secondary air in the midway of combustion reaction and under an easy mixing condition with respect to the flame which is formed under ignition of mixture gas of primary air and fuel, so that a range of combustion can be expanded.

Structure of the conventional example and its problems Conventionally, in this type of combustion apparatus, as shown in FIG. In order to prevent the outer shell from being heated to a high temperature, a core annular wall 4 facing the flame hole 1 was provided to reduce the spread of the flame F. However, with this configuration, even if secondary air 6 (arrow in the figure) is introduced to widen the combustion range, it passes through the outside of the annular wall 4 and flows in from the upper end of the annular wall 4 and comes into contact with the flame F. Therefore, the combustion reaction was almost completed, and the effect of improving the combustion characteristics was not so great. Further, the annular wall 4 allows the primary air (flowing in the direction in which the flame F is formed) and the secondary air 5 to
Because the flows were parallel, mixing was poor, making it difficult to obtain the same effect of improving combustion characteristics as described above, and the combustion range was narrow.

Therefore, especially in indoor open type combustion machines such as fan heaters, there is a problem in that even a small imbalance in the air-fuel ratio causes the emission of carbon oxide and other unburned components that are harmful to the human body.

In the figure, reference numeral 6 denotes a vaporization tube with an open top, 7 a sheathed heater embedded in the vaporization tube, and 8 a primary air passage for supplying combustion air to the vaporization tube 6, which communicates with a blower 9. A secondary air passage 10 supplies secondary air 11 to the outside of the vaporization cylinder 6 and communicates with a blower 9 similarly to the primary air passage 8. A fuel pipe 12 supplies fuel to the carburetor cylinder 6, and communicates with a fuel tank 14 via a pump 13. 16 is a burner case surrounding the outer periphery of the vaporization cylinder 6;
Secondary air 11 is guided upward. 16 is the vaporizer cylinder 6
A guide body 17 disposed at the upper opening of the guide body 16 is a burner head that covers the upper opening of the vaporizing cylinder 6 from above the guide body 16, and is formed in the shape of a cylinder with a ceiling. A plurality of flame holes 19 are formed with lining inside. Reference numeral 20 denotes a grounding plate fitted around the opening of the vaporizer cylinder 6, and an annular wall 20b surrounding the outer periphery of the flame hole 19 is formed on the outer periphery of the horizontal portion 20a. A plurality of small holes 21 for introducing secondary air are provided in the horizontal portion 20i& of the earth plate 20, so that the secondary air 11 flows into the gap between the flame hole 19 and the annular wall 20b. 22 is an ignition electrode that ignites the mixture of fuel and air ejected from the flame hole 19, and 23 is a flame terminal that detects the ignited flame F.

In the above configuration, the fuel supplied from the fuel pipe 12 is vaporized in the vaporization cylinder 6, mixed with the primary air supplied from the secondary air passage 8, and passed through the guide body 16 to form a flame on the peripheral wall of the burner head 17. It is ejected from the hole 19. This mixed gas is then ignited by a spark discharge from the ignition electrode 22,
A flame F is formed and combustion begins.

On the other hand, the secondary air 11 supplied from the secondary air passage 1Q is guided upward through the outside of the carburetor 6, that is, through the inside of the burner case 16, and a part of it passes through the horizontal portion 2C of the ground plate 20.
) It flows into the gap between the flame hole 19 and the annular wall 20b through the secondary air introduction small hole 21 provided in section a. Therefore, the secondary air 11 will flow into the flame F formed in the flame hole 19 at a position quite close to the flame hole 19, and the secondary air 11 will be obtained in the middle of the combustion reaction, and the combustion reaction will be promoted. More complete combustion can be achieved.

In addition, in this embodiment, the flow of the mixed gas (flame F) ejected from the flame hole 19 is horizontal, whereas the secondary air flows in through the secondary air introduction small hole 21. Since the flow of air 11 is vertical, the flame F and the secondary air 11 are mixed very well, and the combustion reaction is carried out even more efficiently.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the flame formed by igniting the mixed gas of air and fuel,
Since secondary air can be introduced in the middle of the combustion reaction and in a state where it is easily mixed, the combustion reaction can be carried out more efficiently and the combustion range can be expanded. Therefore, even if the air-fuel ratio balance changes somewhat, incomplete combustion does not occur, and a safe combustion device can be provided.
