前記噴孔を開閉可能に挿入され、開作動用の受圧
面を有するニードルと、前記本体ボデイ内の前記
ニードルの受圧面周りに形成され、供給されてく
る燃料を一時的に収容する燃料溜り室と、伸縮作
動する圧電素子を用いた電歪式アクチユエータと
、該電歪式アクチユエータの伸縮作動を内部に充
満された燃料を介して前記ニードルの開閉方向の
力に変換する圧力室と、を備えた燃料噴射弁にお
いて、該燃料噴射弁内の前記圧力室近傍でかつ燃
料供給方向にみて前記燃料溜り室よりも上流側の
位置に、供給されてくる燃料が一時的に充満され
、前記圧力室に燃料を補給可能な蓄圧室を設けた
