間隔がなく密接状態で、第1図の如く一見1枚の筋入り
帯状となっていた。そのため、麺線の内側面に乾燥空気
が浸透せず、又侵入しづらく、従って乾燥にムラが生じ
、結局均−且つ理想的な乾燥が出来得なかったという欠
点があった。特に島田掛けと称する短い麺線を乾燥した
乾燥麺又は半乾燥麺を製造する場合には、麺線が短いた
め風力による揺れ巾が長い麺線を揺らす場合に比べてそ
の揺れが極めて僅少で、麺線相互に間隙が生ぜず、従っ
て麺線の内側が外側に比べて乾燥が遅れる結果、所謂乾
燥ムラを生じ、麺線が素直な状態で乾燥できず、麺線の
変形や、頂線間の付着が製造上の問題となっていた。特
に食味を住良にすノために、多加水麺を乾燥する場合に
は、特にこの傾向が著しい。

燥装置の直前までを改造することにより簡単に導入でき
る理想的な乾燥方法であり又乾燥装置である。
