Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a time series reversed and to match the display with a customary display by providing a sweep inverting circuit and making a sweep from right to left. CONSTITUTION:A signal to be observed which is inputted from a signal input 1 is amplifier by a vertical amplifier 2 to drive the vertical deflecting plate 9 of a CRT 8. The output of the vertical amplifier 2 is inputted to a trigger circuit 3 to generate a trigger signal 11. A saw-tooth wave generating circuit 4 generates a sweep wave 12 with the trigger signal 11. The sweep inverting circuit 5 generates a reverse sweep wave 13 by inverting the polarity of the sweep wave 12. A changeover switch selects the sweep wave 12 or reverse sweep wave 13 and a horizontal amplifier 7 drives the horizontal deflecting plate 10 of the CRT 8. Consequently, a sweep is made from right to left to display the time series reversely, so a signal inputted from the LSB to the MSB in order can be read customarily by displaying the MSB on the right side.
