タービンに対して並列に連結されたバイパス通路
を設け、このバイパス通路を開閉操作する過給圧
調整用のウエストゲートバルブを備えたエンジン
の過給圧制御装置において、前記ウエストゲート
バルブを閉塞する方向に付勢する付勢力を発生さ
せる付勢力発生部を設け、前記エンジン本体の排
気通路内の排気圧力が設定圧力よりも小さい場合
には前記付勢力発生部の付勢力によつて前記ウエ
ストゲートバルブを閉塞状態で保持し、前記エン
ジン本体の排気通路内の排気圧力が設定圧力を越
えた場合には前記付勢力発生部の付勢力に抗して
前記ウエストゲートバルブを開放可能な状態で保
持するとともに、前記付勢力発生部にアクセルペ
ダルの踏込み量に対応する押圧力を伝達し、この
押圧力によつて前記付勢力発生部の付勢力を前記
アクセルペダルの踏込み量に応じて変化させるバ
ルブ操作力調整機構部を設けたことを特徴とする
