Conventional upper members of athletic shoes mainly used for ball games are mainly made of natural leather, so-called artificial (or synthetic) leather, etc. in order to form a large number of recesses or protrusions on the outer surface of the sheet that can grip the ball.
Rubber or synthetic resin in which the sheet is molded by heating and pressurizing, or the sheet is used as a top plate and a large number of protrusions are provided between this and the inner plate, or small protrusions are provided at the intersections of lattice-shaped portions. A plate is clamped, or a sheet with many through holes is used as a top plate, and a rubber or synthetic resin core plate with many protrusions is clamped between this and the inner plate, and this core plate is There has been provided a device in which each protrusion is fitted into each through hole of the top plate, and each protrusion is formed to protrude from the outer surface side.

However, if the initial sheet is heated and pressurized to form the desired convex or concave portions, the heating will not only damage the unique flexibility and texture of the natural leather material, but also cause the natural leather material to lose its unique flexibility and texture. Because of this, repeated contact with balls etc. can cause wear and tear, which can easily damage the top plate. Next, when a core plate with a large number of protrusions is provided between the top plate and the inner plate, or a core plate with small protrusions protruding from the intersection of the lattice parts is clamped, the flexibility of the cover is equal to the thickness of the clamped core plate. Not only is it difficult to fully grasp and control the ball due to the loss of contact with the ball, but also the raised parts of the top plate, such as small protrusions pressed by small protrusions, cause repeated contact with the ball, etc. It wears out due to contact friction, and the ball gripping part is likely to be damaged from this worn part. In addition, a core plate having a large number of protrusions is sandwiched between a top plate having a large number of through holes and an inner plate, and each protrusion of the core plate is fitted into each of the through holes of the top plate, and each protrusion is connected to the outer surface of the inner plate. In the case of a ball that protrudes to the side, the cover loses its flexibility due to the thickness of the core plate on which it is clamped, and the feeling of contact with the ball becomes dull, making it difficult to fully grasp and control the ball. Sand and the like enter between the holes and the protrusions, and the top plate is likely to be damaged from the edges of the holes where sand enters. Furthermore, for example, a polyurethane resin solution is poured from the upper surface of a template having a large number of arbitrary through holes on the upper surface of the artificial leather upper member, etc., and each of the through holes of the template is poured onto the upper surface of the artificial leather upper member, etc. However, the polyurethane resin solution poured from the gap between the upper surface of the artificial leather and the opening edge of the lower surface of each hole in the template oozes out. There was a defect that hardened to form so-called burrs, which impaired the commercial value of the upper member and, by extension, of footwear equipped with the upper member.

Regarding the improvement of the manufacturing method of the upper member for footwear according to the present invention, there is provided a template in which through-holes of an arbitrary shape are formed in predetermined portions on a base material made of non-woven fabric, etc., which corresponds to the base of so-called artificial leather. Place it with a slight gap formed,
A liquid polyurethane compound is poured into each through hole of the template, the filled polyurethane compound is brought into close contact with the base material, and the polyurethane compound is cured, and the polyurethane compound that is in close contact with the base material is cured as follows. The present invention is intended to simultaneously form a polyurethane elastomer coating and a gripping attachment such as one or more arbitrarily shaped balls at a predetermined location.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 1, the present invention forms a thin plate-like template b having one or more through-holes 2 of an arbitrary planar shape in a predetermined part, and has excellent abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and tensile strength. We created a liquid polyurethane compound with excellent scratch resistance and bending resistance, and also created nonwoven fabrics,
A base material a made of a material such as a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, or a floor leather material is prepared, and a template d, a base material a, and a liquid polyurethane compound c are prepared.

Next, as shown in FIG. The mold plate b is placed so as to form a slight gap 7 therebetween, and then the liquid polyurethane mixture c is poured into each through hole 2 on the upper surface side of the mold plate b, and the liquid polyurethane mixture c is poured into the mold plate. In addition to filling the through holes 2, 2, 2 of the plate b and some gaps 7 between the bottom side 8 of the template b and the outer surface 1 of the substrate a, the liquid polyurethane formulation c It is closely attached to the base material a so that a portion thereof also penetrates into the texture of the base material a. Next, the liquid polyurethane compound c filled in the through holes 2, 2, 2 of the template b and the outer surface 1 of the template b and the base material a is cured and cured. When the plate b is removed, the liquid polyurethane compound is formed into a polyurethane elastomer, as shown in FIG. It is possible to manufacture the upper cover member A of an athletic shoe mainly for ball games, in which one or more gripping attachments 4 for balls, etc. are integrally and simultaneously molded. At this time, since the template b of the thin plate is molded from an iron plate or a non-adhesive material such as silicone resin or silicone rubber, the one or more polyurethane elastomer attachments 4, 4
Since it does not come into close contact with the coating 3 or the attachments 4, 4, etc., it can be smoothly removed from the coating 3, the attachments 4, 4, etc. without damaging them.

Since the polyurethane elastomer coating 3 and the polyurethane elastomer attachments 4, 4 are integrally and simultaneously molded by pouring the same liquid polyurethane compound c, their bonding strength is not only strong but also strong. Because it is molded in close contact with the ball so that it can penetrate, no matter how strongly you grip or control the ball, etc., it will peel off or break due to the contact friction, pressing force, or pulling force at that time. There is no fear.

Each polyurethane elastomer attachment 4 of the upper covering member A is of the type shown in FIG. Or there is a recess 6 on the top surface of the attachment 4.
In addition, products with designs of arbitrary shapes etc. are also molded. Further, the polyurethane elastomer attachment 41 or 41, 41 or 42 or 42, 42, etc. may have a triangular plane, a quadrangular plane, a circular plane, or an irregular plane, as shown in FIGS. A plurality of relatively small regular curved or band-shaped recesses 43 or a relatively large recess 43 having a single recess 8 as shown in the figure is formed. Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 5, for example, the upper covering member A according to the manufacturing method of the present invention is mainly used for the shoe lace tightening part, as shown in the upper part of the athletic shoe formed using this member. Polyurethane elastomer attachment 4 from both sides to the toe area
If 1, 41, 42, 42 or 43 are formed, the upper cover member A is particularly suitable for use as athletic shoes for ball games.
