に産業上の利用分野】
本発明は光ディスクプレーヤの光学レンズをクリーニン
グするためのディスクに係り、特に光学レンズに自然に
溜まるごみや埃を除去するのに用いて好適なりリーナデ
ィスクに関する。
Ｋ発明の概要ル
レーザディスクプレーヤ等の光ディスクプレーヤの光学
レンズは使用していてもいなくても、長い時間とともに
空気中のごみや埃が溜まり、記録再生信号のレベルの劣
化につながって悪影響を及ぼす。そこで光ディスクとほ
ぼ同一形状を有し、光学レンズと接触するように刷毛等
のクリーニング部材を設けたディスクをプレーヤに装着
して回転駆動することによって、キャビネット外筐を外
すことなく光学レンズの表面のごみや埃を除去するよう
にしたものである。
Ｋ従来の技術】
レーザディスクプレーヤ等の光ディスクプレーヤは、光
ディスクに記録されている信号を光学ヘッドによって読
出して再生を行なうようにしている。従ってディスクプ
レーヤの光学系は埃の付着をきらうことになる。従って
このようなプレーヤは製造時に上記光学レンズがきれい
に拭取られた状態で供給される。ところが半年、１年と
使用するうちに、プレーヤの内部でディスクの回転に伴
なって起こる空気の流れやファン等による空気の流れに
よって、埃が徐々にレンズの上にも付着し、記録再生に
悪影響を与える結果になる。
（発明が解決しようとする問題点］
このようなレンズに付着した埃は柔らかな布やあるいは
刷毛で簡単に除去することができる。ところが光学ヘッ
ドのレンズはプレーヤのキャビネットの内部にあって手
が簡単に入らない。従って光学レンズをクリーニングす
るために外筐を外さなければならず、一般のユーザがこ
れを簡単に行なうことができない。従って光学レンズの
クリーニングがメーカのサービスに頼らざるを得なくな
るという欠点がある。
本発明はこのような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであっ
て、ユーザが簡単に光学レンズをクリーニングできるよ
うにしたクリーナディスクを提供することを目的とする
ものである。

第１図は本実施例に係るディスククリーナをディスクプ
レーヤに装着した状態を示すものであって、クリーナデ
ィスク１０はこのプレーヤによって再生される光ディス
クとほぼ同一の大きさの円板から構成されており、その
中心部には第２図および第３図に示すように中心孔１１
が形成されている。またこのディスク１０上にはその円
周方向に１８０”間隔で刷毛１２が設けられている。刷
毛１２はレンズを燭付けない材質、例えば兎の毛から構
成されており、ディスク１０の所定の位置に小さな穴を
開けて根元部分を埋込むようにしている。そして上記刷
毛の根元部分であって穴の中には接着剤が注入されて固
化されるようになっている。なお植毛すべき毛を予め筒
状の保持手段によって束ねて保持し、この保持手段を上
記の穴の中に挿入するようにしてもよい。この刷毛１２
の長さは第２図に示すように、このディスク１０がプレ
ーヤに装着された場合に、光学レンズ１９に接触する長
さになっている。そしてこのようなディスク１０は第１
図に示すような偏平な直方体状のカートリッジ１３内に
収納されている。
このようなディスク１０によってそのレンズがクリーニ
ングされるプレーヤは第１図に示すように、その中央部
にスピンドルモータ１６を備えるとともに、このモータ
１６の出力軸にはターンテーブル１７が設けられている
。ターンテーブル１７は上方に位置するチャッキングデ
ィスク１８とともに上記ディスク１０を保持するように
なっている。これに対して光学ヘッドを構成する光学レ
ンズ１９は２軸デバイス２０にマウントされるとともに
、このデバイス２０が光学ブロック２１上に取付けられ
ている。ブロック２１はガイドロッド２２によってディ
スク１ｏの半径方向に移動可能に案内されており、リニ
アモータ２３によって同方向に駆動されるようになって
いる。
以上のように円周方向に１８０°離れた位置にそれぞれ
半径方向に刷毛１２が植設されたクリーナディスク１０
はカートリッジ１３に収納された状態で第１図に示すよ
うにプレーヤにＨ”Ｗされる。
するとカートリッジ１３のシャッタが開かれるようにな
り、ディスク１０はターンテーブル１７とチャッキング
ディスク１８とによってその中心部が保持され、スピン
ドルモータ１６によって回転駆動されることになる。す

９の上に積っている埃を除去して記録あるいは再生への
悪影響を取り除くことが可能になる。またこのディスク
クリーナ１０を用いて定期的に光学ヘッド１９のクリー
ニングを行なうことによって、記録再生への悪影響を未
然に防止することができる。これによってレンズ１９に
付着した埃による記録再生のトラブルかなくなる。
またこのようなりリーニング動作は、ユーザが簡単に行
なうことができ、メーカのサービスに依存する必要がな
くなる。
なおりリーチディスク１０上の刷毛１２の植設位置は必
ずしも第３図に示す位置に限定されることなく、各種の
変形が可能であって、例えば第４図に示すように、円周
方向に帯状に刷毛１２を形成してもよい。また刷毛１２
に代えて他のクリーニング部材をディスク１０に設ける
ようにしてもよい。またディスク１ｏは必ずしもカート
リッジ式である必要はな（、そのままでプレーヤに装着
するようにしてもよい。
