Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain simple cleaning of the surface of an objective lens without giving any injury to a reproducer by providing a brush of a fiber material on the surface of a disk containing optical information at the side of the objective lens and having contact between the brush and the lens during revolution of the disk. CONSTITUTION:The signals for detection of using instructions or the cleaning degree of a lens are recorded in an optical disk 6. A brush 7 made of fine fibers is bonded to the lower surface of the disk 6, i.e., the surface of the disk 6 at the side of an objective lens 4 which functions to condense the laser light of a laser light source 5 to the information surface of the disk 6. Thus the brush 7 touches the lens 4 when the disk 6 is rotated, and the stains or foreign matters attached on the surface of the lens 4 can be removed by the brush 7 without impairing the surface of the lens, thereby increasing the lifetime of the lens 4.

Conventional configurations and their problems In recent years, recording and reproducing systems using laser light have been rapidly applied to various fields. For example, in optical video discs and optical digital audio discs, high-density uneven signals called bits are concentrically arranged on one surface of a transparent body made of acrylic resin or polycarbonate resin.
': 1. Recording is performed as a spiral trunk, and a metal reflective film is formed on the uneven surface to constitute an information recording surface. On the other hand, when reproducing this information, usually a laser beam is used, an objective lens consisting of an optical lens is used to focus the information recording surface, and an optical lens system is used to track the track in the positive direction. It is configured to electrically suppress the sound and reproduce the signal.

The objective lens for reproducing such high-density signals is required to have high optical performance. On the other hand, in order to maintain this high performance at all times, the optical performance deteriorates as soon as dust or other foreign substances present in the air adhere to the objective lens. In practice, it is difficult to keep the surface of the objective lens in a beautiful state at all times, so cleaning the objective lens with a cloth or the like with a greasy tip.12 Supporting the objective lens. A large force is applied to the mechanism 9, causing deformation, etc., and damaging the objective lens support mechanism (~
There is a danger of it being overturned. It is also conceivable that personnel or general users using the colander light may directly irradiate laser light onto 11, which is extremely dangerous.

A turntable 2 is installed on a rotating shaft J2 of a spindle motor 1, and a disk 3 on which optical information is recorded is also mounted. - The objective lens 4 for reproducing the force signal is configured to focus the beam from the laser 5 on the information track and information bit portion while always maintaining a constant distance from the information surface of the disk 3. Explain how to control it electrically.

A brush 7 is embedded in the lower surface of the disk 6 on which optical information is recorded, that is, on the objective lens side. This brush 7 is used to clean the objective lens, and is usually composed of a combination of fine thread-like fibers. The deflection brush 7 only needs to be formed on at least a part of the surface of the disk-shaped disk, rather than the entire surface. In reality, a disk that rotates at high speed has slight wobbling and eccentricity, but the objective lens Since the brush 7 attached to the disk 6 is electrically controlled so that the relative relationship with the disk is always constant, it comes into contact with the surface of the objective lens as the disk 6 rotates, removing dirt and foreign matter. It will work and will clean it.
