Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit very easy steam heating by a method wherein a package, consisting of a easily separatable film which seals water together with a food to be heated, is stored in an outer casing and heated by a microwave oven. CONSTITUTION:A package 2, which seals water therein, is constituted of a sealing material, at least one part of the peripheral rim of which is separated easily when the internal pressure of the package has arrived at a predetermined pressure. The package 2 is put on the bottom of a vessel 1 constituted of a synthetic resin sheet having resistance to heat, a partitioning plate 4, having through holes 3, is put on the package, a food to be cooked 5 is put on the partitioning plate and a lid body 6 is provided. When the casing is heated by a microwave oven, the water in the package is vaporized and a pressure in the package becomes higher than the degree of about 0.1 kg/cm<2>, then, the peripheral rim of the package is separated easily at the part of thermal bonding and steam in the package and water, not vaporized yet, are discharged into the package while the water is vaporized perfectly into the steam of water by the heating of the microwave oven whereby the food to be cooked may be steamed.

ウマイ、中華マンシュウ等の調理食品を蒸気加温する方
法に関する (従来の技術) 冷凍またはチルド食品であるシュウマイ、ギョウザ、中
華マンシュウ等の調理食品は本来蒸して食べるものであ
るが、これを電子レンジで直接加熱した場合、表面の水
分が乾燥して食感が悪く、加熱ムラのために均一に温ま
らなかったり、また、加熱時間の調整が難しい等の欠点
があったため、従来はこれらの調理食品は主として蒸し
器によって蒸気加温されていた。

て加熱したとき、包装袋が容易に開き袋内の水分により
適度の蒸気加温されることを見出し、本発明を完成した
もので、本発明の目的は蒸気加熱すべき調理食品を電子
レンジを使用して極めて簡単な操作により蒸気加温する
方法を提供するにある。

リエステル/ポリエチレン、ポリエステル/ポリプロピ
レン、ナイロン/ポリエチレン、ナイロン/ポリプロピ
レン、ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレン等のフィルムもし
くはシートである。

有する合成樹脂シートで構成されている容器または袋1
の底部に水を封入した包装体2を置き、その上に透孔3
を有する仕切板4を前記包装体を被せるように置き、こ
の仕切板上に蒸すべき調理品5をのせ、更に容器を用い
た場合には必要に応じ蓋体6を設ける。この場合には、
蓋体の一部を開封するか、または蓋体と外装体との熱接
着に際しては外装体の熱接着部の少なくとも一部を前記
の水を封入した包装体に用いたと同様の易開封性シーリ
ング剤で開封しやすくし、水蒸気が外部に放出されるよ
うにしておくことが好ましい。また、袋を用いた場合に
は封緘部をカットしておくことが好ましい。しかして、
この外装体を電子レンジで加熱すると、第2図および第
4図に示すように包装体内の水が気化して、包装体内の

熱効果を上げるようにしてもよい。
