設け、粉末原料の流れ方向で見て上記焼成炉の上
流側に粉末原料を予熱する予熱装置と、仮焼炉を
配設し、上記冷却機を空気ダクトにより仮焼炉に
接続し、上記空気ダクトを通る冷却機の排出空気
により仮焼炉で燃料を燃焼させ、この燃焼で生じ
る熱ガスにより上記予熱された粉末原料を仮焼炉
で仮焼するようにした粉末原料焼成装置において
、上記空気ダクトの中途部を分断してこの空気ダ
クトを少なくとも第1ダクトと第2ダクトで構成
し、第1ダクトの分断端に第2ダクトの分断端を
軸方向および径方向に対して相対移動自在に嵌入
し、これら両ダクトの嵌合部で両ダクト間にシー
ル材を介在させたことを特徴とする粉末原料焼成
