保持すべくシリンダヘツドに固着されるカムホル
ダに、その軸受面をシリンダヘツドの分配油路に
連通する高圧潤滑油路を設け、この高圧潤滑油路
が、ジヤーナルの一側方で分配油路に連なる第１
縦油路、ジヤーナルの他側方で軸受面に連なる第
２縦油路、及び両縦油路間を接続する横油路から
構成された、内燃機関のカム軸潤滑装置において
、カムホルダを、複数のジヤーナルを直接保持す
る複数の軸受ブロツクと、これら軸受ブロツクの
上端に橋架される連結板とから構成して、軸受ブ
ロツクと連結板との接合面に、第１及び第２縦油
路間の連通に留まる横油路としての凹溝を形成し
、連結板には、オリフイスを介して分配油路に連
通する低圧潤滑油路と、この低圧潤滑油路から分
岐してカム軸のカムに向つて開口する多数の噴油
孔とを穿設したことを特徴とする、内燃機関のカ
