- 絶縁基板の一主面の中間部に形成した特性素子
部の両端部を基板の両端に形成した電極に接続し
、上記絶縁基板の特性素子部形成面の電極を除く
部分に保護膜を形成したチツプ形電子部品におい
て、上記保護膜の被覆範囲を、絶縁基板の電極非
形成側の両側面と、該両側面に対応する特性素子
部の両側面との中間部としたことを特徴とするチ
ツプ形電子部品。
