The system generates signals such as forecasts and warnings, and based on these signals, staff members take out banknotes from the banknote storage box or perform operations such as replenishing banknotes6. ,
There is a device that uses a method to detect whether the remaining amount is low or full by generating a low remaining amount signal or a full detection signal using an empty detection sensor or a full detection sensor installed in the bill storage box, and by reading this signal with a control unit. Are known. With this device,
The detection level was physically determined by the sensor mounting position. In some cases, the detection level is set by a program, but it is set as a unique value for the device.

There is a time required for the staff to replenish and take out banknotes, and the number of transactions that occur during this time varies greatly depending on the location where the automatic teller machine is installed and the time of use. There have been problems in that when a gold transaction is carried out, the banknotes run out and the transaction is canceled, and if it is installed in a place where there are few transactions, there is too much remaining amount.

This setting method includes a method in which the staff member sets the various detection level data a in the detection level storage areas 31 to 35 from the staff operating mechanism 4-1, 4-2 in advance, or a method in which the ATMI is set from the monitoring device 10. There is a method of setting by instruction data b from the central processing unit 9, and a method of setting by data C from the central processing unit 9. In the case of data a, b, and c, the communication control section in the control device 8 controls the data extraction and the writing into the memory 30.
