Prior Art: In order to eliminate or kill pests in trees, it has been conventional practice to spray liquid insecticides on trees or into the soil around the roots of trees. In such conventional methods, the insecticide is washed away by rain, making it impossible to obtain a sufficient insecticidal effect. In addition, there is a risk that the washed away pesticides may contaminate well water or tap water sources, causing environmental pollution.
As an improvement method, it has been proposed to make a hole at an appropriate location in the tree trunk and insert the tip of a chemical solution injection container into the hole to inject the chemical solution into the tree trunk. However, according to this method, in trees that produce a relatively large amount of resin liquid, such as pine trees, the resin liquid flows from the tip of the inserted chemical liquid injection container and closes the chemical liquid injection port. Therefore, injection of drug solutions becomes impossible during periods of high biological activity. In warm and tropical regions where biological activity is active throughout the year, it is impossible to inject chemicals using this method. Additionally, if air remains in the hole provided in the tree trunk, absorption of the chemical into the tree trunk will be impaired. Depending on the type of resin liquid, it solidifies when it comes into contact with residual air, resulting in significantly poor absorption of the chemical liquid.

Purpose of the invention: The purpose of the invention is to provide a chemical solution injection stopcock that can inject a chemical solution into a tree trunk regardless of the season or region. Another object of the present invention is to provide a chemical liquid injection stopcock that can smoothly and efficiently inject a chemical liquid into a tree trunk. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a stopcock for injecting a chemical solution that can effectively absorb the chemical solution into trees.

As shown in FIG. 1, the stopcock 1 of the present invention has a stopcock body 11 and a conduit 12. The stopcock main body 11 has a substantially cylindrical shape, and its radius is approximately the center part 1 of the cylinder.
It is configured to gradually become smaller from 10 toward both bottom surfaces 111 and 112. The stopcock body 11 is
Therefore, from the vicinity of the side center portion 110 to both bottom surfaces 1
It tapers toward 11 and 112. The stopcock body 11 further has at least two through holes 10 that penetrate from one bottom surface 111 to the other bottom surface 112. One end 121 of the conduit 12 is connected to each of the through holes 10. The other end 122 of the conduit 12 is connected to one bottom surface of the stopcock body 11, for example, 11

At least one of these conduits 12 has a protruding end 122 protruding outward in a direction opposite to the direction in which the other conduits 12 protrude.

For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the stopcock 1 having such a structure has one side connected to the drug solution injection container 2.
functions as a stopcock. The remaining one side functions as a stopcock for the hole 40 provided in the tree trunk 4 into which the chemical solution is to be injected. Since the main body 11 of the stopcock 1 is tapered, these openings can be sealed liquid-tight almost regardless of the diameter of the container 2 or the diameter of the trunk hole 40. Which side of the stopcock 1 serves as the stopcock of the container 2 can be determined quite arbitrarily. The length of the conduit 12 protruding from the stopcock body 11 is appropriately selected in relation to the capacity and shape of the hole 40 drilled in the tree trunk 4.

As another example of the stopcock 1, as shown in FIG.
It is also possible to provide a thread groove 100 on the side surface.
Providing the thread groove further improves liquid tightness.

The chemical solution 20 in the container 2 is injected into the tree trunk 4 through the stopcock 1 as follows: First, the opening of the container 2 is sealed with one side of the stopcock 1 in a liquid-tight manner. Next, a hole 40 is made diagonally downward in the tree trunk 4 with a drill. This hole 40 is sealed liquid-tightly on the other side of the stopcock 1. The conduit 12 inserted into the trunk hole 40 is positioned below the through hole 10 in the bottom of the stopcock from which it protrudes.

The chemical solution 20 in the container 2 is injected into the hole 40 of the tree trunk 4 through the conduit 12 connected to the stopcock through hole 10. The air in the tree trunk hole 40 flows from above the hole 40 into the stopcock through hole 10 and the conduit 12 connected thereto.
It flows into the container 2 through the. In this way, the chemical solution 20 fills the tree trunk hole 40 while replacing the air in the hole 40.
It is injected into 0. This injected chemical solution is absorbed through the vascular bundles of the tree trunk 4.

flow inward. The resin liquid 41 that has flowed into the container 2 also floats above the chemical liquid 20 in the container 2 due to its specific gravity. The chemical liquid 20 in the container 2 is more smoothly and efficiently injected into the tree trunk hole 40 due to the inflow pressure of the resin liquid 41.

Effects of the invention: The stopcock of the present invention has an air flow path and a resin liquid flow path separate from the flow path for the chemical liquid to be injected into the tree trunk, and is housed in a container in such a way that air and resin liquid are replaced with the chemical liquid. Therefore, the injection of the chemical solution is not hindered by the air in the tree trunk hole or the resin solution. In addition, the inflow pressure of air and resin liquid allows for smoother and more efficient injection of the chemical liquid. By using this stopcock, not only can drug solution be injected regardless of the time of year or region, but it can also provide superior functionality during times of high biological activity.
Since no air remains in the tree trunk hole, the chemical solution is easily absorbed into the tree. There is no risk that the resin liquid will solidify inside the tree trunk hole.
