Heat and dry the putty from the surface. After drying, it is polished to the extent that recesses are formed, and intermediate putty is applied in heaps to the polished recesses. The surface of the intermediate putty is dried, and after drying, the surface of the intermediate putty is polished until a depression is formed. A heaping amount of finishing putty is applied to the recesses formed by polishing the intermediate putty, and after application, the finishing putty is heated and dried from the surface. After this drying, the surface of the finishing putty is polished so that it is continuous with the surface around the repaired area in a smooth flat or curved surface. Surface treatment of such recessed areas required a great deal of labor and time.

The finishing putty layer or intermediate putty layer dries first, resulting in a hard surface. Therefore, if the coarse putty layer is insufficiently dried, there is a risk that the lowest coarse putty layer will remain without drying. To solve this problem, it is necessary to gently heat the finished putty layer from the surface side and dry it for a long time, which results in poor workability.

By doing this, the moisture moves from the inside to the surface and the putty gradually dries from the side of the workpiece, so no matter how thick the putty is, it dries completely, and the coarse putty will overlap with the surface of the workpiece. It adheres strongly and dries the putty layer all at once, so the work can be completed in a short time.
