Conventionally, a device is known in which a large number of thin tread plates are slidably attached to a pad support box. Then, the other end surface of each treading thin plate that does not correspond to the inner surface of the belt is pushed by fingertip pressure, air pressure sent from a pressurized air pipe provided in the support box, etc., so that the thin plates are individually slid. However, in the above structure, each tread pressure plate is individually slid by pressing with finger pressure, air pressure, etc., and this sliding creates relative unevenness on each tip surface to form a convertible pad surface. However, since these tread pressure plates require rigidity and wear resistance, they use thin metal plates, so the flexible pad surface that is constructed by moving the tips of these thin metal plates in different steps is This creates a hard step. Conventionally, after forming these uneven pad surfaces, they were covered with cloth, felt, etc. to create a smooth pad surface. However, with flexible pads, it is necessary to perform trial polishing of the curved material after molding and to make corrections in most cases, but this is done by removing the cloth, felt, etc. mentioned above, and then removing it again after correction. It had the annoying drawback of having to reapply things. The present invention aims to improve these drawbacks.

The tip surface 32 of each tread pressure plate 31 is provided with one T-shaped notch 35 as shown in FIG. 4, or two T-shaped notches 35 are provided in parallel as shown in FIG. When the tip surfaces 32 are arranged in a plane as shown in the figure, the T-shaped notches 35 are aligned to form a large T-shaped notch 35a. Reference numeral 36 denotes a flexible material plate made of rubber, synthetic resin, etc., which has an area to be bonded to the tip end surface of the front tread pressure plate 31, and the one shown in FIG. 4 has a single T-shaped protrusion 3 on its inner surface.
7, and the one in Figure 5 has two parallel T-shaped protrusions 3.
7, and their T-shaped protrusions 37 are T-shaped notches 35.
a and insert the flexible material plate 36 into each tread pressure plate 3.
A fitting engagement is applied to the distal end surface 32 of 1. The length of the flexible material plate 36 in the height direction H is equal to that of the tread pressure thin plate 31.
It can also be made slightly larger than the stacking height H'.

In this embodiment, a pad that can be freely converted at the tip surface is constructed by sliding each tread pressure thin plate 31 to follow the curved surface 52 of the processed material 51 in a male-female relationship.
The flexible material plate 36 first constitutes the surface of the flexible pad, on which each tread plate 31 slides. However, when the tip surface 32 of the thin tread pressure plate 31 is operated to protrude or retract as required in order to correct the pad surface, the flexible material plate 36 follows the corrected pad surface.

The outer surface of the flexible material plate 36 is connected to the padded support box 19.
The workpiece 51 is further covered by a wear-resistant thin plate 41 (FIG. 2) attached to the corresponding surface. However, by extending both the left and right ends of the flexible material plate 36 in FIGS. 4 and 5, and attaching the extended portions directly to the pad support box 19 as shown in FIG. 1, the use of the wear-resistant thin plate 41 is omitted due to this configuration. As clarified from the above explanation, the present invention is such that a flexible material plate 36 is fitted onto the tip surface 32 of a large number of thin tread plates 31 which are superimposed and inserted into and out of a pad support box. The flexible material plate 36 covers the pad surface which is freely formed by stepped unevenness based on the free movement of the tip surface of the pad 31.
This eliminates the need to apply a flexible material plate to the pad surface formed by the tip surface of the pad, or to remove and apply it each time the pad surface is modified. This has the effect of greatly simplifying the work of changing or modifying the shape of the flexible pad.
