<・Prior art> In recent years, as the standard of living has improved, household goods have become more diversified or more sophisticated, and bedding, which is a typical household item that uses heat insulating materials, is no exception. In the case of insulation materials, various materials have been used, such as those using cotton as a heat insulating material, which have been used for a long time, and those using synthetic fiber cotton and high-quality materials using wool. On the other hand, not only have materials become more diverse, but their functions have also improved, not only in terms of heat retention, but also in terms of lightness, texture, and more!
It is becoming increasingly necessary to satisfy performance such as deodorization, antibacterial, and piping prevention, and moreover, it is required that these functions be satisfied in combination. A heat insulating material that satisfies these requirements has not yet been obtained, and its development is strongly desired.

<Purpose and Structure of the Invention> As a result of intensive research aimed at obtaining a heat insulating material that satisfies such social needs, the present invention has developed a heat insulating fiber aggregate having specific anti-swee and/or anti-mildew features. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that the material used for the material retains heat retention and texture while exhibiting excellent overall antibacterial and/or antifungal effects as well as deodorizing effects.

That is, the present invention provides a heat insulating material whose main component is an aggregate of fibrous materials, and a portion of the aggregate that has been treated with an anti-MU and/or antifungal agent and a portion that has not been treated with the anti-MU agent and/or a fungicide. The present invention provides a heat insulating material characterized in that the treated portion and the untreated portion are substantially uniformly mixed.

A feature of the present invention is that the aggregate of fibrous materials constituting the heat insulating material consists of a portion treated with an antibacterial agent and/or antifungal agent and a portion not treated with the antibacterial agent, and these are substantially uniform. It is characterized by a mixture of. To describe this characteristic more specifically, when looking at the fibrous material at the single fiber level, there are parts where one single fiber has been treated with an antibacterial agent and/or antifungal agent, and a part where the treatment has not been performed. If the fibers have both parts and they constitute an aggregate, if the treated single fibers and the untreated single fibers constitute the aggregate, or if both are mixed. An example of this is when an aggregate is formed.

In the present invention, "substantially upwardly mixed" means that the area consisting only of parts not treated with the antibacterial agent and/or antifungal agent is too large for the antibacterial effect and/or antifungal effect to reach. This means that the treated parts are uniformly distributed throughout the aggregate with substantially no free parts. In other words, the portions treated with the antibacterial agent and/or the antifungal agent may be distributed more or less uniformly as long as the antibacterial effect and/or antifungal effect is maintained. As described above, it is important that the heat insulating material of the present invention is composed of an aggregate in which a portion treated with an anti-fungal agent and/or a fungicide and a portion not treated are substantially uniformly mixed. It has been found that this makes it possible to obtain overall antibacterial and/or antifungal effects, as well as deodorizing effects, while preventing deterioration in texture. In order to fully demonstrate this effect, 90% of the entire area must be treated with antibacterial and/or antifungal treatment.
Hereinafter, it is appropriate that K be preferably 80% or less and occupy 20% or more, preferably 30% or more.
