回避しやすく、その上、搬送体の給紙ならびに給紙解除
の状態切換えや姿勢規正具に対する制御手段を極めてシ
ンプルなものにすることが可能であり、全体として、f
tW 華な改良でありながら、記録ミスや紙詰まりを回
避しやすい手差し給紙装置をコスト的に安価に提供する
ことができるに至ったのである。

めの画像記録装置における手差し給紙装置において、前
記手差し給紙台を給紙方向に直交する方向の横軸まわり
で揺動自在に設けると共に、一方が駆動ローラである上
下一対の搬送体の1個を前記手差し給紙台に付設して、
該手差し給紙台の揺動に伴って前記一対の搬送体を給紙
状態と給紙解除状態とに切換え自在に構成すると共に、
前記給紙解除状態において手差し給紙台の上面よりも上
方に突出し且つ記録紙先端を当接させることによって該
記録紙の姿勢を規正する姿勢規正部を、前記手差し給紙
台の揺動に伴って前記搬送体が前記給紙状態に切換わる
前に相対的に該手差し給紙台の上面よりも下方に引退し
て給紙を許容するように、前記搬送体に対して給紙方向
下流側に配置してあることを特徴とする画像記録装置に
おける手差し給紙装置。
