BACKGROUND ART FIG. 1 shows a T-shaped pipe joint in which a connecting tube 2 is provided protruding from the side surface of a pipe joint body 1. Such pipe joints are used, for example, in drainage pipes of high-rise residential buildings, and the pipe joint body 1
is connected to the vertical pipe (main pipe) 3, and the connecting pipe 2
is connected to the horizontal pipe (branch pipe) 4 on each floor.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In high-rise residential buildings using pipe joints such as those described above, there is a problem in which a portion of the drainage water from the upper floors flowing down the pipe joint body 1 flows back into the toilet bowls and the like on the lower floors.

This problem is thought to be due to the following causes. That is, if the flow of the main body 1 flowing down along the opening of the connecting tube 2 falls as indicated by the broken line arrow a, the above-mentioned backflow will not occur. However, in reality, as shown by the solid arrow b, it turns around to the connecting tube 2 side and separates from the upper wall surface at an angle θ that corresponds to the speed of the flow. The angle θ increases as the flow speed increases, so the flow flowing down from the upper floor bounces off the bottom of the connecting pipe 2 and flows into the horizontal pipe 4.
flow back inside. This phenomenon is called a water jump phenomenon, and can be confirmed experimentally.

Means for Solving the Problem This invention forms a protrusion along the periphery of the opening of the connecting cylinder to the pipe joint body on the upstream side of the flow in the main body, and The side surface is formed into an inclined surface protruding toward the center of the main body, and the surface on the upstream side of the flow inside the connecting tube is formed into an inclined surface protruding toward the center of the connecting tube, and the top of the protrusion is formed at an acute angle. It has a configuration in which it is formed into a shape.

Embodiment As shown in FIG. 2, the pipe fitting according to the embodiment of this invention is basically the same as the conventional one, with a connecting tube 2 protruding from the side surface of the pipe fitting body 1 in a T-shape. It is something. The difference from the conventional one is the connecting tube 2.
At the opening 5 to the main body 1 (see FIG. 3), a protrusion 6 is formed along the upstream periphery of the main body 1 over half the circumference. The height of this protrusion 6 decreases toward both ends, and is formed so as to disappear at both ends. Moreover, as can be seen from the case of FIG. 1 (indicated by a chain line in FIG. 2), this protrusion 6 has a surface 6a that diagonally faces the upstream side of the main body 1 and a surface 6a that diagonally faces the upstream side of the connecting tube 2. It has a top section with an acute angle in cross section. One side 6a
has an inclination that protrudes toward the center of the main body 1 along the flow direction, and the other surface 6b has an inclination that protrudes toward the center of the connecting tube 2 along the flow direction.

Since the pipe joint of the embodiment has the above-mentioned configuration, of the flow flowing down the main body 1, the flow c along the opening 5 is caused by the fact that the top of the protrusion 6 is pointed at an acute angle, and that the connection Since the surface 6b on the side of the cylinder 2 is tilted in the opposite direction, the flow does not go around to the side of the surface 6b. Therefore, no water jumping phenomenon occurs.

と、一層確実にまわり込みを防ぐことができる。
It should be noted that if the protrusion 6 is placed on the upstream periphery of the opening 5, a nearly satisfactory result can be obtained, but if it is provided over half the circumference on the upstream side as shown in Fig. 3, it will be more secure. It is possible to prevent crowding.

Effects of the invention As described above, this invention has the effect of preventing the problem of the flow inside the pipe joint body flowing back into the connecting tube.
