Various methods have been used to attach patterns to inorganic plates with uneven surfaces, such as vacuum lamination, water pressure transfer, and screen printing. It is difficult to transfer uniformly onto large-sized plates using the water pressure transfer method.Due to the use of water, problems with wastewater treatment are involved.Due to water content and drying, The screen printing method has various drawbacks, such as the possibility of deformation of the board, the inability to pattern on surfaces with deep irregularities, and the inability to create photographic patterns.

The present invention is an attempt to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, and is to overlap a transfer film with a desired pattern on an inorganic plate having an uneven surface before applying unevenness, and to transfer the pattern at the same time as applying the unevenness. be.

First, a flexible and stretchy film such as polyvinyl chloride film, polypropylene film, or polyethylene film that can be easily formed into irregularities by physical pressure is prepared, and one side of the film is coated with a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol or methyl cellulose. to form a release layer, and a desired pattern is provided thereon.

As long as the ink forming the desired pattern is water-insoluble, the binder resin can be arbitrarily selected depending on the purpose, such as vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate, cellulose acetate, or chlorinated rubber.

The transfer sheet having the above structure is placed on a sheet of a hydration-curing inorganic material that retains moisture and is in an uncured state, such as plaster or mortar, with its printed surface facing. Next, unevenness processing is applied to the top of the transfer sheet using flat pressure or circular pressure. At this time, since the base film of the transfer sheet has flexibility and elongation, it often follows the surface of the inorganic sheet and is shaped into an uneven shape.

Next, the inorganic sheet is cured, and the flexible film is peeled off after or during the curing process. To peel off the material after it has hardened, the base film is heated to a temperature higher than its softening temperature, shaped into an uneven shape, and integrated with the material. The uneven shape of the film does not change even at room temperature,
It is necessary for the film to remain in close contact with the material until the material hardens. After curing, the adhesion between the printing ink and the material becomes stronger and the film can be easily peeled off from the material. During the work process, the transfer surface may be scratched,
This method is suitable for preventing dirt from adhering.
In the case of a film in which the textured shape is deformed or restored in a short period of time, it is necessary to peel the film from the material immediately after the texture is imparted. Otherwise, the uneven shape of the surface of the material may change due to deformation or return of the unevenness. In order to peel the film from the material at the same time as the unevenness is imparted or during curing, the printed pattern must be instantaneously transferred to the material. The transfer mechanism of the present invention is that moisture in the material comes into contact with the film, activates the water-soluble resin attached to the film, and causes it to adhere to the material.
However, the water-soluble resin may become activated momentarily, making it difficult to develop adhesive properties. In this case, a water-soluble adhesive such as acetic acid emulsion or starch paste may be applied to the material in advance, or a similar adhesive may be applied to the back surface of the film, that is, the printing surface. Alternatively, if moisture is applied to the printed surface in advance, adhesive force will be generated on the printed surface when unevenness is provided.

Depending on the intended use of the resulting decorative inorganic board, it is possible to apply a top coat made of lacquer, polyurethane, vinyl, acrylic, or other resin on the transferred pattern, and these top coat resins can be used to transfer the pattern. After that, it may be applied onto the inorganic plate, or it may be provided in advance as a top coat resin layer between the desired pattern of the transfer sheet and the water-soluble resin layer and transferred simultaneously with the pattern.

According to the method described above, a pattern with gradation can be uniformly applied to a large size board, and since the transfer sheet is simply layered during the inorganic board molding process, it can be applied to the conventional inorganic board manufacturing process. A decorative inorganic board can be manufactured without making any changes.

Example 1 A semi-rigid polyvinyl chloride film with a thickness of 0.15 mm was coated with a thin layer of polyvinyl alcohol, a marble pattern was printed on it with vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate ink, and then carbonate was applied on top of it to provide hiding properties. A transfer film was prepared by providing a solid layer with white ink containing a large amount of calcium.

Example 2 Methyl cellulose was applied thinly to a polypropylene film with a thickness of 0.12 mm, and a teak pattern wood grain pattern was printed on it using ink using cellulose acetate resin as a binder, and then a yellow ink containing alumina was printed on top of it. A transfer film was prepared by providing a solid printing layer.

Next, starch paste was applied onto the uncured sheet of asbestos cement using a reverse roll coater, and the transfer film was stacked so that the printed surface was in contact with the sheet, and conduit grooves were embossed using an embossing plate. Immediately, the transfer film was peeled off from the material, and after the transfer, the material was dried and cured, and then cellulose lacquer color clear was spray applied to obtain a decorative inorganic board.
