る。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a centrifugal casting mold.
Conventionally, when a casting is made by centrifugal casting, slag collects at the rear end of the casting due to centrifugal force, forming a defective part. Therefore, it is necessary to cut out the defective part of the casting taken out from the mold. However, if the part at the rear end of the casting where slag is mixed is removed, the overall length of the casting will be shortened, resulting in a waste of molten metal.

る。 For this reason, the present invention provides a thin-walled slag that is connected to the casting surface by a tapered surface and protrudes inward on the entire inner circumference of the rear end side of the centrifugal casting mold adjacent to the casting surface. A step portion of an appropriate length that can be formed is provided, and a protrusion for preventing slag is provided around the entire inner circumference of the rear end side of the mold adjacent to the step portion.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a centrifugal casting mold, and the entire inner circumference of the rear end side of the mold 1 adjacent to the casting forming surface 2 of the mold 1 protrudes inward to form a stepped portion 3 of an appropriate length. ing. Reference numeral 4 designates a slag-stopping protrusion formed on the entire inner circumference of the rear end side of the mold 1 adjacent to the stepped portion 3. Note that the casting surface 2 and the stepped portion 3 are connected by a tapered surface 5. 6 is a casting, 7 is a slag gathered at the rear end of the casting 6, and 8 is a center line of the mold 1.

, and move to the stepped portion 3 side. At the position of the step part 3, the depth is shallower than the depth of the casting molding part,
Only the groove 7 moves along the entire length of the stepped portion 3, and its movement is stopped by the protruding portion 4. Therefore, slag is not mixed at the rear end of the casting 6 as in the conventional case, and only slag is formed at the rear end of the casting 6 within a thin range. After the casting 6 made in the above manner is taken out from the mold 1, the groove 7 at the rear end is cut off to produce a product. As a specific example, if the inner diameter of the casting surface 2 is 500 mm, the angle of the tapered surface 5 is 30 degrees, and the height of the stepped portion 3 is 15 degrees above the casting surface 2.
mm, and the length of the stepped portion 3 is 200 mm. At this time, the thickness of the groove 7 is approximately 5 mm.

い。 The centrifugal casting mold of the present invention can be implemented as described above, and the step part and the slag-stopping protrusion allow the slag to be separated from the casting at the rear end and collect only the slag in a thin wall. As a result, the molten metal can be used more effectively than when cutting off the rear end of the casting, which has slag mixed in, as in the past.
Moreover, the structure of the mold itself is not particularly complicated.
