切断物体であるシート状物体を順送りして千切状に切断
するようになっている。

方切刃ロール1のセラミック円板2と交互に噛み合うよ
うに組立てられ、使用される。このように用いられる切
刃ロールlは第3図の立体分解図にて構成を示すように
金属製の回転シャフト3の一端に固定フランジ3aを設
けておき、この回転シャフト3には複数個のセラミック
円板2が挿通しである。この場合、セラミック円板2と
他方のセラミック円板2が噛合う隣のセラミック円板2
の間には該セラミック円板2の厚さより小径で肉薄のセ
ラミック板金属板プラスチック板などで作られたスペー
サリング4を必要に応じて介在させてもよいが、このス
ペーサリング4の代わりに回転シャフト3と連結されて
いない、すなわち該回転シャフト3の回転と無関係に、
かつ上部にガイド部5aを一体形成したガイド部材5を
セラミック円板2の間にそれぞれ配しておくことにより
、これらガイド部材5が複数個整列した状態にて上方か
ら投入した紙の如き被切断物体を首尾よく切断作動部に
導くことができる。このような刃部材であるセラミック
円板・2は、回転シャフト3と共に回転すべく、中央に
あけた回転シャフト3の挿通孔2aに回り止め2bを形
成したり、あるいはセラミック円板2の挿通される部位
の回転シャフト3の断面形状を方形状や楕円形などとし
、これに合った挿通孔2aをセラミック円板2に形成し
ておき挿通せしめることによって、セラミック円板2を
回転シャフト3の軸方向に自由に移動させることができ
る。この結果、相対する切刃ロール1の各セラミック円
板2と交互に噛合せた状態にて容易に組付けることがで
