は、シヤツタを移動させるワイヤの接続されるプ
ーリに直結された、円周上にいくつかのスリツト
を持つエンコーダの位置を光学式センサ9により
検出し、コード化された用紙幅情報と前記エンコ
ーダの検出コードが一致するよう制御していた。
しかし、エンコーダ、光学式センサ等を用いるた
め、部品点数が多く、コストが高い、光学式セン
サのためトナー、紙粉等の影響により誤検出を生
