Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the rotary accuracy and to decrease the thickness of a driving motor of a magnetic recording medium, by stacking a Hall device, a magnet opposite to a coil, a yoke, a slit disk, etc. to form a brushless direct coupled driving motor. CONSTITUTION:A brushless direct coupled motor M which gives the direct driving to a disk recording medium is formed by stacking a Hall device 7, a magnet 11 opposite to a coil 3, a yoke 9, a disk 12 containing a slit 13 which is detected by a photoelectric transducer 63. With such constitution, the thickness of a driving motor is reduced. Furthermore the rotational accuracy of the motor M is improved by the control given via a position detecting Hall device 7, a rotational frequency detecting slit 13, etc. Thus the magnetic recording is possible with high accuracy.
