Conventional side defroster devices of this type include, for example, Figures 1 and 2 (Service Bulletin No. 428 (LP) published by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in September 1980).
-1)). In the diagram, 1 is the door, 2 is the door glass, and 3 is the door trim part.
A ventilation duct 6 is defined in the upper longitudinal direction of the door trim component 3 and is connectable to a ventilation device 5 on the instrument panel 4 side. Note that the door trim component 3 is formed with an opening 7 that communicates with the ventilation duct 6, and this opening 7 connects the front defroster nozzle 8 connected to the blower 5 to the connecting duct 9 disposed on the side of the instrument panel 4. It can be freely attached and detached. The ventilation duct 6 has a ventilation guide plate 13 attached to the indoor side of the upper part 11 of the door inner panel 10 via a clip (not shown), and a door inner panel 10 facing the ventilation guide plate 13.
It is formed by a door trim part 3 disposed at the bottom of the door trim part 3, and a sealing material 14 interposed between the door trim part 3 and the door trim part 3 at the lower part of the ventilation guide plate 13. Furthermore, an escutcheon plate 17 having an air outlet 16 that opens upward is fitted onto the top portion 15 of the door trim component 3. The air introduced into the ventilation duct 6 is blown out from the air outlet 16 of the escutcheon plate 17 to the inner surface 18 of the door glass 2 to remove fogging from the door glass 2. In the figure, 19 is indoors and 20 is outdoors. Further, 21 is a door outer panel, 22 is a molding, and 23 and 24 are weather strips.

However, in such a conventional side defroster device, when forming the ventilation duct 6 into sections, the sealing material 14 is used to seal between the lower part of the ventilation guide plate 13 and the door trim component 3. The installation work of the sealing material 14 is essential, which increases the number of work hours, and the sealing material 14 is required.
4 may peel off or be twisted when attached, resulting in poor sealing performance and air leakage. Also,
Since the hard escutcheon plate 17 is exposed on the top part 15 of the door trim part 3, when an occupant puts his elbow on the top part 15 of the trim part 3, it has a hard feel and feels uncomfortable. Furthermore, since the air outlet 16 of the escutcheon plate 17 faces upward, there is a problem in that air does not reach the area near the bottom of the door glass 2, making it difficult to clear the cloudy area near the bottom.

The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings. FIGS. 3 to 8 are diagrams showing one embodiment of the present invention. Incidentally, in the following, parts common to those in the prior art are given the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations will be omitted. In the figure, 30 is a door trim part, 31 is a cover member, and this cover member 31 connects the ventilation duct 3 to the interior 19 side of the upper part 32 of the door trim part 30.
3 is partitioned. The door trim component 30 integrally has an armrest portion 34 at a substantially central position thereof, and an interior side surface 36 above the upper surface 35 of the armrest portion 34, leaving a rear end portion 37, is formed as a duct forming portion 38. ing. The entire interior side surface 36 of the door trim component 30 excluding the duct forming portion 38 is covered with a pad material 39 and a skin material 40. Further, in the duct forming portion 38, a recess 44 is formed extending from the upper surface 35 of the armrest portion 34 to the top 43, leaving the attachment portions 41 and 42 of the cover member 31. A plurality of guide ribs 45 are provided in a protruding manner. Cover member 31
has a shape that covers the entire duct forming portion 38 of the door trim component 30, and a pad material 47 and a skin material 48 are applied to the interior side surface 46 thereof.
Further, this cover member 31 is formed with an opening 49 that can freely come into contact with and separate from the connection duct 9 on the instrument panel 4 side. Then, the lower edge 50 of the cover member 31 is brought into contact with and in close contact with the upper surface 35 of the armrest portion 34 of the door trim component 30 on which the pad material 39 and the skin material 40 are applied, and the clip member protrudes from the cover member 31. The cover member 31 is attached to the duct forming part 38 of the door trim component 30 by inserting the cover member 51 into the attachment hole 52 provided in each attachment part 41, 42 and bending it. The recess 44 of the member 38 and the cover member 31 define the ventilation duct 33. Furthermore, at the same time as this ventilation duct 33 is formed, an air outlet 53 facing the door glass 2 is formed in the top portion 43 of the door trim component 30. The air outlet 53 is comprised of an end 54 of a recess 44 located at the top 43 of the door trim component 30 and an upper end 55 of the cover member 31 that covers the top 43 of the door trim component 30.
Furthermore, the upper end 55 of the cover member 31 is located slightly closer to the interior 19 than the end 54 of the recess 44 so that air can be evenly blown out to the door glass 2. Therefore, the air introduced into the ventilation duct 33 is evenly guided in the front and back direction by the guide ribs 45 and is blown out from the air outlet 53 facing the door glass 2, so that the entire door glass 2 is defogged. is definitely possible. Further, since the guide ribs 45 also serve as reinforcement, it is possible to reduce the thickness of the duct forming portion 38.

As explained above, according to this invention,
A cover member is attached to the upper indoor side of the door trim part, and this cover member forms a ventilation duct on the upper indoor side of the door trim part, and an air outlet facing the door glass is formed at the top of the door trim part. As a result, the ventilation duct can be formed easily and reliably.
Moreover, it is not necessary to install sealing material, which reduces the number of work hours, eliminates the deterioration in sealing performance caused by variations in the installation of sealing material, and furthermore, since the escutcheon plate is not exposed on the top of the door trim component, Even when occupants rest their elbows on the area, they can feel a soft sensation and the appearance is improved. Also, since the air outlet faces the door glass, it is possible to reliably remove fog from the bottom of the door glass. There is an effect.
