A decorative product in which a powder thermosetting resin such as powdered epoxy resin is sprayed and fused onto the surface of a decorative veneer or veneer, and then heat-pressure treated to form a resin film made of epoxy resin on the surface of the decorative veneer. A method for producing decorative plywood has been proposed in which a material is manufactured and then bonded to a base plate such as lauan plywood or particle board to produce decorative plywood. This manufacturing method uses the above-mentioned resin film in place of the top coat, so there is no need to apply another top coat to the decorative plywood, improving work efficiency, and since no organic solvents are used, it is good for occupational health and is non-polluting. It has the following characteristics.

However, with this manufacturing method, the back surface of the decorative material also became smooth due to the heat-pressure treatment, and there was a problem that adhesive strength was insufficient when adhering to the base plate. For this reason, conventionally, the back side of this decorative material is roughly ground to create a rough surface and increase adhesive strength. but,
Unnecessary polishing work is required, increasing the number of processes.
In addition, the decorative veneer is often damaged due to variations in the thickness of the decorative material during polishing, and if the adhesive strength is insufficient even after rough finishing, non-woven fabric, chemical paper, etc. may be inserted during gluing. I have to increase my strength,
This required extra steps, leading to high manufacturing costs.

Therefore, in this invention, a first backing material is bonded to the back side of the decorative veneer with an adhesive containing thermoplastic resin,
Next, a thermosetting resin powder is applied to the front surface of the decorative veneer, and a second backing material is applied to the back surface, and heat and pressure treatment is performed to form a resin film on the surface of the decorative veneer, while at the same time applying the second backing material to the back surface. Temporarily bonded to improve the adhesion to the base plate, eliminating the need for polishing.

Hereinafter, the manufacturing method of the decorative material of the present invention will be explained in detail step by step. Figures 1 to 4 show an example of the manufacturing method of the present invention in the order of steps, and the reference numeral 1 in the figures shows an example of the manufacturing method of the present invention.
is a decorative veneer. This decorative veneer 1 preferably has a thickness of about 0.1 to 0.8 mm. and,
A first backing material 2 is adhered to the back surface of this decorative veneer 1, as shown in FIG. This backing material 2 reinforces the decorative veneer 1 and facilitates its handling, and is made of nonwoven fabric, paper, or the like. The adhesive 3 for bonding the backing material 2 is an adhesive containing at least a thermoplastic resin, such as a vinyl acetate emulsion adhesive or an adhesive containing a vinyl acetate emulsion mixed with a urea resin. The amount of adhesive 3 to be applied is about 50 to 100 g/m 2 , and the adhesive 3 may be cured by placing the first backing material 2 and heating under slight pressure. As a result, the first backing material 2 is adhered to the back surface of the decorative veneer 1 in a state where it is substantially embedded in the adhesive 3.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, a powder thermosetting resin layer 4 is formed on the surface of the lined decorative veneer 1. This powder hardening resin layer 4 is made by applying a powdered resin obtained by blending a predetermined amount of hardening agent to a solid epoxy resin or epoxy polyester resin and pulverizing it onto the surface of the decorative veneer 1 by electrostatic coating or removal. It can be obtained by coating the powdered resin by a heating method and heating it for a short time using an infrared heating device or the like to lightly fuse the powdered resin. The amount of powdered resin applied is approximately 50 to 200 g/m 2 . Alternatively, a powdered resin may be applied to a thin base material such as a nonwoven fabric or paper and similarly fused, and this may be separately prepared and placed on the surface of the decorative veneer 1.

Next, as shown in Fig. 3, this decorative veneer 1
A second backing material 5 is placed on the back surface of the mold, and the mold release films 6, 6 are interposed thereinto, followed by heat-pressing treatment using a hot press 7 or the like. The second backing material 5 is used to increase adhesive strength with the base plate, and is made of a material with a rough surface such as nonwoven fabric or net. The release film 6 is preferably a heat-resistant, non-adhesive film made of a fluororesin such as polyvinyl fluoride and having a thickness of 15 to 50 μm. In addition, the heat-pressure treatment conditions depend on the type of resin forming the powder thermosetting resin layer 4, the type of thermoplastic resin contained in the adhesive 3, etc.
It is necessary to set the temperature to at least the softening temperature of the thermoplastic resin contained in the adhesive 3, and when an epoxy resin is used for the powder thermosetting resin layer 4 and a vinyl acetate resin is used for the thermoplastic resin, temperature
The temperature is 120 to 150°C for 7 to 20 minutes, and the pressure is the same or lower than that applied to plywood manufacturing.

By this heat and pressure treatment, the powder thermosetting resin layer 4
The thermosetting resin is melted, flows into the conduit portion on the surface of the decorative veneer 1, hardens, and a part of it penetrates into the inside of the veneer 1 and hardens. Further, the thermoplastic resin of the adhesive 3 containing the thermoplastic resin on the back surface is softened and melted, and the second backing material 5 is temporarily bonded to the back surface of the veneer 1.

Next, a method of manufacturing decorative flash plywood using this decorative material 9 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6. Reference numeral 10 in FIG. 5 is a base plate. This base plate 10 is made of ordinary round plywood, particle board, or the like. Adhesive 11 is placed on this base plate 10.
is applied, the decorative material 9 is placed so that the second backing material 5 of the decorative material 9 is in contact with the adhesive 11, and the adhesive 11 is solidified by applying pressure to form the structure shown in FIG. A decorative flash plywood (resin-treated veneer overlay plywood) 12 is obtained. The adhesive 11 includes
EVA resin, vinyl acetate resin, vinyl acetate resin
It is also possible to use adhesive paper whose main component is a urea resin mixture, melamine resin, etc., or paper or nonwoven fabric impregnated with these and dried. Adhesion conditions are temperature 100
~120°C, a pressure of 10~15×10 5 Pa, and a time of about 5 to 10 minutes may be sufficient.

In the manufacturing method of such a decorative material 9, the formation of a resin film 8 on the surface of the decorative veneer 1 and the second backing material 5 are performed.
Adhesion can be performed at the same time, simplifying the manufacturing process. Furthermore, the uneven surface of the second backing material 5 is exposed on the back surface of the decorative material 9, which improves the adhesive strength with the base plate 10 and eliminates the need for polishing work. Furthermore, the second backing material 5 exhibits a cushioning effect during the heat-pressure treatment, and the occurrence of defects such as bubbles, blisters, and skin defects in the resin film 8 is reduced. Furthermore, since the homogeneous resin film 8 made of thermosetting resin is formed on the surface of the decorative material 9, there is no need to apply a top coat again when the decorative plywood 12 is made. Further, since a powder thermosetting resin is used, a thick resin film 8 can be easily obtained without using a solvent.

As explained above, according to the method for manufacturing a decorative material of the present invention, a resin film can be formed on the surface of a decorative veneer and a second backing material can be temporarily bonded to the back surface at the same time with a single heat-pressure treatment. , the manufacturing process can be simplified. In addition, in the resulting decorative material, the rough surface of the second backing material is exposed on the surface to be bonded to the base plate, which improves adhesion to the base plate and eliminates the need for the conventional troublesome grinding work. be able to. Furthermore, since a uniform and smooth resin film is formed on the surface of the decorative material in place of the top coat, there is no need to apply another top coat when making decorative plywood.
