Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は液晶表示用の反射板（半透過型を含
む）に関するものである。
従来、この種の反射板としてはスチレン発泡体
フイルムやプラスチツクフイルム面に金属を蒸着
した蒸着フイルムなどが用いられているが、発泡
体フイルムは外部からの衝撃にて簡単に損傷する
という問題があり、また蒸着フイルムは反射輝度
が低いという問題ある。
本考案はかかる問題を解消する新規な反射板を
提供するものである。
本考案の反射板は、内部に微粉末が配合されて
いると共にその周辺に微細泡が形成されている真
珠光沢様プラスチツクフイルム又はシートから構
成されているものである。
以下図面を用いて本考案の実例を具体的に説明
する。
図面において、１はポリプロピレン、ポリエチ
レンなどのプラスチツク、２は炭酸カルシユウ
ム、硫酸バリユウム、硫酸マグネシユウム、酸化
チタン、クレー、タルク、ケイ酸、ケイソウ土な
どからなる粒子径約0.01〜100μの微粉末、３は
プラスチツク１と微粉末２との界面に形成された
微細泡（約10μ以下）である。なお図中の４はオ
ーバーコート層である。
上記１〜３からなるプラスチツクフイルム又は
シートＨは、プラスチツクベースに微粉末（約
2.5〜50重量％）及び他の配合剤例えば界面活性
剤などを配合し、融点以下の温度で延伸すること
によつて微細泡が得られ、フイルム又はシートは
真珠様の光沢を発揮する。
本考案の反射板は以上のように構成されている
ので、微細泡がフイルム又はシートに受ける外圧
などによつて潰れたりすることがなく、きめの細
い高い反射率が得られるという特徴を有する。
また本考案の反射板は、その一面に接着層や偏
光板を設けることによつて、実装時の作業の向上
を計つたり、反射偏光板又はゲストホスト表示用
反射板として用いたりすることもできるという利
点もある。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. プラスチツクフイルム又はシートの内部に微粉
    末が配合されていると共に、該フイルム又はシー
    トの延伸により該プラスチツクと該微粉末との界
    面に微細泡が形成されている、真珠光沢様プラス
    チツクフイルム又はシートからなる液晶表示用反
    射板。
