Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurately assembled, readily maintainable, and cheap feeding device by providing a control system to make it possible to perform constant feed amount feeding and constant load feeding by employing a linear motor. CONSTITUTION:To perform machining, a wheel spindle 21 and a work spindle 24 are rotated being opposed each other and a table 27 is advanced. The table 27, first of all, is advanced in constant feed amount feeding mode to a position set by a computer 30 based on a linear scale 28. A table moving speed at this time is so rapid as to result in relatively rough machining. In the next step, the table is fed at a low speed in constant load feeding mode allowing the machine to perform fine machining. This feed control is performed by employing the linear scale 28 for working out positions, a taco generator 31 for detecting speeds, and the computer 30 for processing these signals to drive a motor driver 32. A simple structured, highly accurately assembled, readily maintainable, and cheap feeding device can, thus, be obtained.

、微細な加工が行われる。この送りの制御は、位置の測
定を行うリニアスケール28と、速度を検出するエレク
トリックタコジェネ31と、これらの検出器の信号を処
理し、モータドライバー32を駆動するコンピュータ3
oで行われる。
