Conventionally known conveyor belt cleaners include:
For example, Utility Model Publication No. 52-37424, Special Publication No. 53-
There is one disclosed in Publication No. 9104. However,
All of these cleaners were of the type that pressed the scraping chips against the return side of the conveyor belt at an intermediate position between the head pulley and the tail pulley, perpendicular to the belt surface, so the reaction force against the belt pressing force of the cleaner was small. It is not possible to sufficiently scrape off the deposits on the conveyor belt by using the cleaner, and a chute must be installed separately in the area where the cleaner is installed for scraping off and falling debris. There was a problem in that the kimono partially fell down before reaching the cleaner installation position, staining the area around the conveyor belt equipment.

Therefore, in recent years, a conveyor belt cleaner as shown in Fig. 1 has been proposed in order to solve these problems by scraping off the deposits on the conveyor belt with the part wrapped around the head pulley. There is.

This conveyor belt cleaner rotates the rotating shaft 3 in the direction shown by arrow A in the figure and presses the scraping chips 7 against the surface of the conveyor belt 1. Since it receives a pressing reaction force, the conveyor belt 1
Since this cleaner is installed near the lower side of the head pulley 2, in other words, inside the conveyed object falling chute 8, it can scrape off the fallen objects. There is no need to install a separate chute for cleaning, and there is also no risk that some of the deposits will fall and contaminate the surrounding area before the deposits reach the cleaner.

, mounting plates 10 and 11 are fixed to mutually opposing surfaces of a rubber elastic body 9 having a square side surface shape, and these mounting plates 10 and 11 are connected to the boss portion 4 and the arm 6, respectively. When the scraping chips 7 are pressed against the conveyor belt 1 via the elastic means 5, compressive deformation occurs in the rubber elastic body 9, which has a relatively small amount of deformation with respect to a predetermined pressing force of the chips 7. In the compressive deformation of the rubber elastic body 9, the rate of change in the pressing force with respect to the rate of change in the amount of deformation is large, so that the pressing force of the conveyor belt 1 decreases rapidly when the scraping chips 7 are worn. As a result, there was a problem in that the scraping effect also deteriorated early. In addition, in this elastic means 5, scrapings tend to adhere and accumulate on the upper surface of the rubber elastic body 9, which is perpendicular to the surface to which the mounting plate 11 is fixed, and for this reason, the function of the elastic means 5 is also reduced. I had a problem.

This invention advantageously solves the problem of the prior art, and even if the scraping chips are worn out, the pressing force of the scraping chips against the conveyor belt can be sufficiently maintained within the required area. To provide a conveyor belt cleaner that does not require readjustment of pressing force and can maintain its function for a long period of time by preventing scraped materials from adhering to elastic means.

According to this invented conveyor belt cleaner,
When the scraping chips are pressed against the conveyor belt by the movement of the rotating shaft, tensile deformation occurs mainly in the elastic body due to the shape of the elastic body and the way in which the base member and support member are embedded. In this tensile deformation, the rate of change in the pressing force relative to the rate of change in the amount of deformation of the elastic body is small, so even if the scraping tip wears out, the decrease in the tip pressing force due to the wear is small; The tip pressing force can be maintained within a required range without readjusting the pressing force until the scraping tip reaches the end of its life. In addition, by forming the elastic body so that the side surface shape is substantially triangular and one side of the elastic body faces toward the head pulley, one side of the elastic body and the side adjacent to the upper side of the one side form an acute angle.
The scraped material can fall smoothly from the elastic means, effectively prevent the scraped material from adhering thereto, and maintain its function over a long period of time.

A rubber or rubber-like elastic body 22 having a right-angled triangle shape with its hypotenuse a facing the head pulley side, and a rubber or rubber-like elastic body 22 that is embedded in the elastic body 22 along the hypotenuse a from a portion near each vertex of the elastic body 22 that separates the hypotenuse a. It is composed of a base member 23 and a support member 24, which are connected to the boss portion 4 and the arm 6, respectively.

has. In addition, each bent end portion 23 here
The extension lengths of a and 24a are determined based on the rubber hardness and the required tensile strength of the elastic body 22, which will be described later, on the condition that the bonding strength of each member 23 and 24 to the elastic body 22 and the strength of the elastic body 22 are sufficient. It can be appropriately selected depending on the amount of deformation, the required pressing force of the scraping chips 7 against the conveyor belt 1, etc.

Preferably, a recess extending parallel to the head pulley 2 is provided in the center of the hypotenuse a as shown in the figure, and the recess allows the elastic body 22, especially the hypotenuse side, to undergo tensile deformation as described later. This results in relaxation of tensile stress. Although the shape of the recess is of course not limited to the illustrated example, it is desirable that the cross-sectional shape of the recess be curved in order to avoid stress concentration on the recess.

The conveyor belt cleaner constructed in this manner is similar to the one shown in FIG. By pressing the chip against the surface of the chip, scrape off the deposits on the return side of the conveyor belt 1. Under the action of the pressing force of the chip 7 against the conveyor belt 1 and the large pressing reaction force exerted on the chip 7 by the head pulley 2, the conveyed object is The material can be sufficiently scraped into the falling chute 8.

Moreover, in this conveyor belt cleaner, when the scraping tip 7 is pressed with the required force, a clockwise force as shown by arrow B in FIG. 6
As a result of the counterclockwise force shown by the arrow C acting on the connecting portion of the elastic body 21 to the elastic means 21, most of the elastic body 22, in other words, is surrounded by its oblique side a and each member 23, 24. When tensile deformation occurs in the part, the reaction force against the tensile force becomes a pressing force of the scraping chips 7 against the conveyor belt 1. In order to apply the required pressing force to the scraping chips 7, the elastic body 22 is Conversely, since the elastic body 2 deforms more than when subjected to compression deformation,
Even if the amount of deformation of chip 2 decreases by a certain amount, the tensile force does not decrease as much as the compressive force.
Even if wear occurs on the elastic body 22, the pressing force exerted thereon will be maintained within the required range. Therefore, the chips 7 are scraped off by the compression reaction force of the elastic body.
Compared to the conventional technology that provides a pressing force of 1, there is no or almost no need to readjust the pressing force, and it is possible to respond to irregularities on the surface of the conveyor belt more quickly and smoothly than the conventional technology.

If we look at this in Figure 4, which shows the relationship between the amount of deformation of the elastic body, the scraping tip, and the pressing force, we can see that the setting value of the pressing force is 6 kg per 10 cm width of the scraping tip 7,
When the lower limit of the pressing force is 5 kg/10 cm and the amount of wear until the scraping chip 7 is discarded is approximately 0.8 cm, the elastic body 22 of this invention has a curve Te as shown in the figure.
As shown in the settings, to bring about the pressing force approx.
Tensile deformed by 5.8 cm and kept under such conditions for 6 months ~
After 12 months of use, the scraping tip 7 is approximately 0.8
The amount of tensile deformation is also approximately 5 cm due to wear.
However, the tip pressing force at this time by the elastic body 22 is approximately 5.5 kg/10 cm,
Since this value exceeds the lower limit of the pressing force of 5 kg/10 cm, according to this invention, the pressing force can be applied without readjusting between the time of updating the scraping tip 7 and the time of its replacement. The ability to scrape off kimono can be sufficiently maintained. On the other hand, the conventional elastic body shown by the curve Co in the figure is compressed and deformed by only about 1.7 cm to provide the set pressing force, and the scraping tip 7
When replacing the tip, the amount of deformation decreases to about 0.9cm, so the tip pressing force at that time is about 3.5Kg/10cm.
becomes. Therefore, with the conventional elastic means, sufficient scraping performance cannot be maintained unless the pressing force is adjusted at least twice before the scraping tip 7 is discarded.

Furthermore, here, since the oblique side a and the side c of the elastic body 22 form an acute angle, the deposits scraped off by the scraping chip 7 slide off without adhering or accumulating there. The function of the means will not deteriorate.

This invention has been explained above based on illustrated examples, but
It goes without saying that the side surface shape of the elastic body 22 does not have to be a right triangle; it is also possible to provide a slight recess or convex portion on each side of the elastic body 22, which has a substantially triangular side surface shape.

Therefore, according to this invention, in particular, a rubber or rubber-like elastic body whose side surface is substantially triangular in shape and whose one side facing the head pulley side and the side adjacent to the upper side of the side make an acute angle; To,
A base member and a support member that are embedded along one side of the head pulley side and protrude toward the rotation axis side and the arm side constitute an elastic means, and the portions of these base members and support members that are embedded in the elastic body By providing one side of the elastic body located on the head pulley side with a bent end portion along each of the adjacent sides on the side of each member, even if the scraping tip wears out, it will not be attached to the conveyor belt. Maintenance and management of the conveyor belt cleaner becomes extremely easy as there is no need to adjust the pressing force, and the adhesion and accumulation of scraped deposits on the elastic means is prevented, allowing the elastic means to function for a long time. Maintenance is possible. In addition, the scraping tip can quickly and smoothly follow the unevenness of the conveyor belt surface under the action of a small reaction force.
