Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a belt cleaner that scrapes off deposits adhering to the belt surface of a belt conveyor used for transporting raw materials.
Belt conveyors are the most efficient mass transportation means in thermal power plants, steelworks, chemical plants, waste treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, etc., to transport various raw materials, fuel, processed materials, waste, etc. Many belt conveyors are used. In general, a belt conveyor is configured such that a rubber belt having a predetermined width is wound endlessly between a drive pulley and a driven pulley, and the belt is rotated between both pulleys by rotating the drive pulley. Normally, the transported material is transported on a carrier belt (conveying belt), is discharged on the drive pulley side, becomes a return belt (returning side belt), and returns to the driven pulley. ) Fallen in the middle, and accumulated under the belt and worn out the return roller and carrier roller.
When the transported material adheres to the belt, the deposit on the surface of the return belt falls and accumulates under the belt, but it tends to selectively fall and accumulate under the return roller. To grow and wear these. In addition, since leaving the fallen object deteriorates the work environment and loses resources, the fallen object is regularly collected. However, it is difficult to automate, and much labor and cost are required. The fallen object once dropped is collected and reused, but it takes a lot of labor and cost because it falls over a wide range over the entire length of the conveyor. For this reason, a method has been adopted in which a fallen object is scraped off at a fixed location using a belt cleaner as much as possible to recover efficiently. There are two types of belt cleaners: a scraper type that presses a fixed scraping plate against the belt to scrape off deposits with a scraper, a brush method that makes the brush contact the belt, and a cleaning method that removes deposits by spraying high-pressure fluid. However, a scraper method with a simple structure and excellent maintainability is often used.
The conveyor belt gradually wears as it is used, but it does not wear uniformly, but the central portion selectively wears greatly. Therefore, when the belt becomes old, a thickness difference of 5 to 6 mm occurs at the center and the end of the belt. In addition, when the belt length is longer than 100m, belt replacement may not be performed all over the length due to cost and work time constraints, and the old belt with a large central wear is not worn. New belts may be mixed. For this reason, the pressure adjustment of the belt cleaner cannot be dealt with only by strongly pressing the central portion of the belt, and eventually it must be pressed uniformly in the width direction of the belt. Further, the endless portion of the belt peels off over time, and the endless end portion peels off. Since this peeling part protrudes from the belt surface, the belt cleaner may be damaged if the bending limit of the belt cleaner is exceeded, or conversely if the pressing force of the belt cleaner is large, the endless peeling amount will be promoted and this may cause belt cutting. Become. Therefore, the belt cleaner is an indispensable item for scraping off deposits on the belt surface, but if it is mistaken, it may damage the belt and cause production failure. In this way, there are many issues that the belt cleaner must clear, and it is extremely difficult to deal with all issues in terms of the greatest common denominator. Up to now, belt cleaners of various shapes and functions have been proposed, but no belt cleaner with excellent maintenance and scraping efficiency has yet been realized.
The requirements for the scraper belt cleaner are as follows. If all of these conditions are not satisfied, the various deposits on the belt conveyor cannot be followed. (1) The deposits can be reliably scraped off over a long period of time. (2) It has a large deformation capacity and is strong, and can cope with belt reverse rotation. (3) The chip life of the scraping part is long and the adjustment cycle and replacement cycle are long. (4) There is no deposit on the belt cleaner body or the amount of deposit is very small. (5) When the deposits are firmly attached to the belt or peeled endlessly, the tip can be largely bent in the belt transport direction, and the belt cleaner can be prevented from being damaged by overcoming them. (6) The structure of the belt cleaner is simple and compact and can be attached to the lower part of the head pulley. (7) The tip can be easily adjusted. (8) Attachment and removal are easy. (9) Inexpensive. Various belt cleaners have been proposed to satisfy the above characteristics of the belt cleaner, but each has a problem and a fundamental method has not been realized.
Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2002-46851 has proposed a method in which a scraper blade is attached to an elastic body and pressed against a belt. The problems of this method are as follows. (1) Since the width of one scraper blade is wide, it is not possible to flexibly follow the unevenness of the belt so that wear increases toward the center of the belt. (2) Since the width of the scraper blade is wide, it is necessary to increase the pressing force of each elastic body, and there is a risk that the belt cleaner may be damaged because large deposits and endless peeling cannot be avoided.
In JP-A-8-208020, the cleaner member that supports the chip is elastically supported by the support member so that the chip has an appropriate pressing force against the belt, and when an abnormal load is applied, the support member is There has been proposed a belt cleaner which is attached to an attachment member so as to be rotatable in the conveying direction. This method has the following problems. (1) The chip pressing mechanism and the rotating mechanism are separated, and the mechanism is complicated. (2) When an abnormal load is applied, the chip needs to be rotated to avoid it, but a large force is required to rotate not only the chip receiving the load but all the chips. Since the force is applied from the load side, the load received by all the chips increases and an avoidance delay occurs. (3) Since the mechanical part becomes large, the adhered matter scraped off tends to adhere to the cleaner member. (4) Since the structure of the cleaner member is complicated, the constituent members become large, and the width of the chip has to be increased in proportion thereto, and the chip does not come into pressure contact with the belt surface evenly, resulting in scraping.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-295288 discloses a belt cleaner having a structure in which a plurality of scrapers attached with a plurality of chips are disposed obliquely with respect to the belt traveling direction, and the scrapers are pressed against and supported by an elastic body. Proposed. This method has the following problems. (1) Since the plurality of chips attached to the scraper plate adjust the pressing force with the belt for each scraper plate, fine adjustment for each chip is impossible. (2) Since the pressing force of the scraper is determined by adjusting the elastic body provided at two locations in the belt width direction, it is impossible to make fine adjustments for each scraper. (3) When the tip receives an abnormal force from the deposit, the tip cannot be avoided because there is no rotation mechanism, and there is a risk of damage to the belt cleaner. (3) Since a link mechanism is used, a large space is required and it cannot be attached to the lower part of the head pulley. (4) When exchanging the chip, it is necessary to remove the entire belt cleaner, and fine adjustment is difficult.
The present invention solves the following problems. (1) The chip is allowed to follow flexibly according to the wear state of the belt surface and the adhesion force of the deposit, so that the deposit can be surely scraped off. For that purpose, the width of the chip is made appropriate, and each chip is supported by an elastic body. (2) The chip is made of ceramics or super hard metal to improve wear resistance. (3) Minimize the projected area of the belt cleaner body so that scraped deposits are less likely to adhere to the belt cleaner. By applying a low-adhesion coating such as a fluororesin on the surface of the belt cleaner, the adhesion of deposits is minimized. (4) The chip should be able to escape against strong deposits and endless peeling. For this purpose, it is possible to avoid damage to the belt cleaner by largely deflecting the tip in the belt conveyance direction and overcoming these obstacles. (5) Make the structure of the belt cleaner simple and compact. The chip is held by a simple principle rather than a complicated mechanism. It can also be attached to the lower part of a head pulley with a small space. (6) Make it easy to adjust the chips one by one. (7) Facilitates attachment / detachment of the belt cleaner. (8) To make it possible to manufacture at low cost by simplifying the structure. A belt cleaner that satisfies the above problems is realized.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, as shown in claim 1, a belt cleaner is disposed under a return belt of a belt conveyor and scrapes off deposits attached to the return side belt with a tip attached to the tip of an elastic body. In the above, the width of the tip in the belt width direction is 30 mm or less, the belt cleaner is provided with an anchor portion on the tip, and the anchor portion is embedded in a free end portion of the elastic body made of rubber to form a tip stick. A plurality of the chip sticks are arranged on a gantry arranged in the width direction of the return side belt, and the side surfaces adjacent to each other of the chip sticks are slidable with each other to fix the fixed end of the elastic body.
As a second solution, as shown in
According to a third solution, as shown in claim 3, the chip stick is inserted into a long groove disposed in the width direction of the return belt together with a pressing plate, and a plurality of threaded through holes are provided on the pressing side plate of the long groove. A bolt is rotatably mounted in the threaded through hole, and the pressing plate and the chip stick are pressed against the receiving plate of the long groove with the bolt, and a groove is formed below the long groove. The guide plate is slidably mounted on a rail plate disposed in the width direction of the belt, and the rail plate is a groove type disposed at both ends of the belt width direction. Inserted into the mounting base of the belt and fixed in the direction of travel of the belt and supported by a jack bolt in the height direction. The tip of the chip is adjusted by adjusting the height direction of the rail plate with the jack bolt. A belt cleaner for adjusting the pressing force of the belt.
The effects of the belt cleaner of the present invention are as follows. (1) The chip can flexibly follow the surface of the belt and the adhesion force of the deposit, and the deposit can be reliably scraped off. For this purpose, the width of the chip in the belt width direction is set to an appropriate size so that each chip can be supported by an elastic body. (2) Since the chip is made of ceramics or cemented carbide, the wear resistance is improved and the replacement cycle and adjustment cycle are long. (3) Since the projected area of the belt cleaner body is minimized, the scraped deposits are difficult to adhere to the belt cleaner. Adhesion is minimized by applying a low adhesion coating such as a fluororesin on the surface of the belt cleaner. (4) The tip support member is flexed so that the tip can be bent in the belt conveying direction to avoid damage to the belt cleaner. (5) The structure of the belt cleaner is simple and compact. The chip can be held by a simple principle while avoiding complicated mechanisms. It can be attached to the lower part of a head pulley where space is severe. (6) The tip can be easily adjusted. (7) The belt cleaner can be easily attached and detached. (8) The structure is simple and the manufacturing cost is low.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to claims and FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. FIG.
As shown in claim 1, the first solution is a belt which is disposed under the
The material of the
The
The
The height of the
Since the surface state of the
The
The
Since the
As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5, the
As the second solution means, as shown in
As shown in FIG. 3D, by screwing the
According to a third solution, as shown in claim 3 and FIGS. 1, 2, 3, and 4, the
