[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is an electric water kettle, more specifically, a metal container that heats the liquid content using a heater installed on the outer periphery of the lower part, an inner stopper installed at the top of the container, and an air pump built into the lid. This invention relates to an electric water kettle in which air is introduced into the container through the inner stopper, and the liquid content is discharged to the outside through the inner stopper.

Conventionally, in this type of electric kettle, a temperature fuse is attached to the outer surface of the bottom of the container to cut off the electric circuit in order to prevent danger in the event of abnormal energization due to a malfunction of the thermostat or the like. In this case, while water remains in the container, the temperature at the bottom of the container does not rise much due to water evaporation.
The temperature fuse will not blow until all the water in the container has evaporated and the container is empty. Therefore, the parts cannot be reused due to heat damage to resin parts such as the inner stopper, shoulder body, and bottom body, and thermal deformation due to steam from the air pump inside the lid body.

Therefore, setting the melting temperature of the temperature fuse to a low value may be considered, but if the user carelessly turns on the power without adding water even though the thermostat is normal, the thermostat may operate. By this time, the container itself has become quite hot, and there is a risk that the temperature fuse may blow before the thermostat is activated. Therefore, when the thermostat is normal, the thermostat must control the energization even in the dry state, and the temperature for blowing the temperature fuse must be set so as not to blow it out accidentally. That is, the blowing temperature of the temperature fuse cannot be set too low.

The present invention was developed to deal with the two conflicting situations mentioned above, and by simply changing the installation position of the temperature fuse without changing the melting temperature setting of the temperature fuse, resin parts such as inner plugs and shoulder bodies can be easily removed. An object of the present invention is to provide an electric water kettle that prevents thermal damage to parts and prevents erroneous blowing of a temperature fuse.

In the drawing, 1 is a metal exterior body, 2 is a bottom body fixed to the lower end of the exterior body 1, 3 is a shoulder body fixed to the upper end of the exterior body 1, and 4 is housed and fixed inside the exterior body 1. This container is made of stainless steel, and a band-shaped heater 5 is wrapped around the outer periphery of the lower part of the container 4, and a heat retention controller 6 and a thermostat 7 are attached to the outer surface of the container 4 above the heater attachment part. The periphery of the container 4 is covered with a heat insulating material 8 made of glass wool, and a temperature fuse 9 is installed on the outside of the heat insulating material 8 and above the heater mounting part by a holding metal fitting 10 fixed to the container 4. is set up. Preferably, the temperature fuse 9 is installed at approximately the same height as the thermostat 7 and in contact with the outer surface of the heat insulating material 8.

An inner stopper 11 having a water lift pipe 12, a water injection pipe 13, and an air supply hole 14 is fitted into the upper end of the container 4, while a lid 15 containing an air pump 16 is fitted into the upper end of the shoulder body 3. It is screwed on. Then, by expanding and contracting the air pump 16, air is introduced into the container 4 through the inner stopper 11, and the liquid inside the container 4 is transferred to the outside via the water pumping pipe 12 and the water injection pipe 13 of the inner stopper 11. It is now being poured out.

For example, if the thermostat 7 malfunctions, the heater 5 is continuously energized, and if there is water in the container 4, the inner stopper 11 and the air pump 16 inside the lid 15 are affected by the heat due to high-temperature steam. However, if there is no water in the container 4, the container 4 will reach an abnormally high temperature, causing problems such as heat damage to resin parts such as the shoulder body 3 and the bottom body 2. In this invention,
Since the temperature fuse 9 is provided outside the heat insulating material 8 and above the heater mounting position, the temperature fuse 9 not only transfers heat from the side wall of the heated container 4 via the heat insulating material 8, but also absorbs heat from the heater. The air in the vicinity of 5 will heat up and receive the convection heat. Therefore, regardless of the presence of water inside the container 4, the temperature fuse 9 can be quickly blown out, and the resin parts such as the inner stopper 11, the shoulder body 3, the bottom body 2, etc. are exposed to high temperatures for a long time. Heat damage can be prevented without causing any damage.

On the other hand, the thermostat 7 is normal, but if the user carelessly turns on the power without filling it with water, the heat capacity of the container 4 itself is small, so it quickly becomes hot, and the thermostat attached to the outside of the container 7 operates quickly and controls the energization to the heater 5. On the other hand, since the heat insulating material 8 is interposed between the temperature fuse 9 and the high temperature container 4, the temperature rise is slower than that of the container 4, and the temperature fuse 9 is lower than the temperature rise of the thermostat 7. There is no need to worry about it melting quickly.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the temperature fuse is installed above the heater mounting part and outside the insulation material, so if the thermostat malfunctions, it will quickly melt and cut off the power supply. Heat damage to resin parts such as the inner stopper and shoulder body can be prevented, and the parts can be reused. Also, when the thermostat is normal, there is no need to worry about the temperature fuse blowing out faster than the thermostat operates.
There is no problem in using it.
