Such air conditioners, such as window type air conditioners,
In air conditioners such as spot coolers, fan casings for evaporator fans and condenser fans are generally made of molded heat insulating materials such as styrofoam from the viewpoint of preventing perspiration and reducing weight. However, although molded heat insulators have good heat insulation properties, are lightweight, and are easy to assemble, they are not strong, so they cannot be assembled by inserting them into partition plates, support plates, etc., or fixing them using fixing members. It has been adopted. On the other hand, since the motor for a fan is relatively heavy and is a source of vibration, an angle for supporting the motor is separately provided and fixed. In other words, air conditioners that are constructed using support plates for molded insulation, fixing members, and even angles for motors are not lightweight even though they are intended to be lightweight. This was extremely disadvantageous in terms of cost.

Next, the above-mentioned gate-shaped supports 4, 5 and partition plates 19, 2
1. The structure of the fan casings 17 and 18 will be explained in further detail. The gate-shaped supports 4, 5 are made up of parallel leg sides 4a, 4b (not shown), 5a, 5b, and connection sides 4c, 5c that connect the tops of the leg sides 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b. , are arranged on the bottom plate 3 so as to be symmetrical to each other. The partition plates 19 and 21 are each bent in a U-shape so that the evaporator 12 and the condenser 13 are placed inside the gate-shaped pillars 4 and 5, and both ends of the partition plates 19 and 21 are provided with legs. It is fixed to the sides 4a and 4b, and both sides of the partition plate 21 are fixed to the leg sides 5a and 5b. Therefore, when the partition plates 19 and 21 are fixed to the gate-shaped supports 4 and 5, they can be moved slightly closer to or farther from each other as shown by the arrows in the figure. On the other hand, Juan 1
The fan casing 18 for No. 5 is made of hard plastic such as polystyrene, and has a boss portion 18a for fixing the motor 16 on the back side and a fitting groove for fitting an engaging protrusion 17a of the fan casing 17, which will be described later. A boss 18c for fixing the fan casing 18 to the partition plate 21 with screws 25 is also formed on the opening side of the fan casing 18b that contacts the partition plate 21. Further, the fan casing 17 for the fan 14 is made of a molded cut material such as styrofoam, and has an engaging protrusion 1 on the back side that fits into the fitting groove 18b.
7a, and the opening side is arranged so as to be in close contact with the partition plate 19. In other words, when assembling, the motor 16 is fixed to the fan casing 18, the fan casing 17 is assembled to the fan casing 18, and the fans 14 and 15 are fixed to the rotating shaft of the motor 16.The assembly is shown by arrow A in FIG. The fan casing 18 is inserted into the space between the partition plates 19 and 21 fixed to the gate-shaped pillars 4 and 5, and the fan casing 18 is screwed into the
It is fixed to the partition plate 21 at 5. After that, an angle (not shown) is placed between the connecting pieces 4c and 5c in order to bring the fan casing 17 into close contact with the partition plate 19.

Therefore, since the fan casing 17 has heat insulating properties, it goes without saying that sweating does not occur.
Since it is supported by the fan casing 18, there is no need for separate parts such as a support plate, a mounting plate, and a fixing plate. Further, since the motor 16 is also fixed to the fan casing 18 which is made of hard plastic, a separate angle for the motor 16 is not required.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the fan casing made of molded heat insulating material is combined with the fan casing made of hard resin, and both are fixed by fixing the latter fan casing. There is no need for any parts, support members, etc., reducing weight and preventing sweating. Since the motor is also fixed to the latter fan casing, there is no need for angles for the motor, resulting in further weight reduction. The reduction in the number of points also provides significant benefits in terms of ease of assembly and cost reduction.
