Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of the air conditioner by assembling an evaporator fan casing made of a foaming resin to a condenser fan casing made of a hard resin, and fixing the fan casing of the hard resin to the main body of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:The casing 17 of a fan 14 for use in an evaporator 12 is molded by a heat insulating material such as foaming styrol or the like, and the casing 18 of a fan 15 for use in a condenser 13 is molded by hard plastics such as polystyrene or the like. A motor 16 is fixed to the fan casing 18, and both casings 17 and 18 are assembled together by fitting the engagement projection 17b of the fan casing 17 and the fitting groove 18b of the fan casing 18. Further, the fans 14 and 15 are assembled to both casings 17 and 18. Then, the casings 17 and 19 are inserted into portitioned plates 19 and 21, and the fan casing 18 is fixed 25 by screws. Then, the angle (not shown) is bridged over connecting pieces 4c and 5c, and the casing 17 is hermetically attached to the partition plate 19.

In an air conditioner such as a spot cooling fan, a molded heat insulating material such as styrofoam is generally used for the fan casings of the evaporator fan and condenser fan, since it prevents sweating and is lightweight. However, although molded heat insulators have good heat insulation properties, are lightweight, and are easy to assemble, they are not strong, so they cannot be assembled by inserting them into partition plates, support plates, etc., or fixing them using fixing members. It has been adopted. On the other hand, since the motor for a fan is relatively heavy and is a source of vibration, an angle for supporting the motor is separately provided and fixed. In other words, although air conditioners that are constructed using molded heat insulating material support plates, fixing members, and angles of the motor reservoir are intended to be lightweight, they are not lightweight, and moreover, they have a large number of components. This was very disadvantageous in terms of cost.

4b, and both sides of the partition plate 21 are fixed to leg sides 5a and sb. Therefore, when the partition plates 19 and 21 are fixed to the gate-shaped supports 4 and 6, they can be moved slightly toward or away from each other as shown by the arrows in the figure. On the other hand, the fan casing 18 for the fan 16 is molded from hard plastic such as polystyrene, and has a boss portion 18a that fixes the motor 16 on the back side and a fitting projection 17a of the fan casing 17 that will be described later. Matching groove 18b
A boss 18C for fixing the fan casing 18 to the partition plate 21 with screws 26 is also formed on the opening side where the partition plate 21g comes into contact. Further, the fan casing 17 for the fan 14 is made of a molded and cut material such as styrofoam, and has an engaging protrusion 17 on the back side that fits into the fitting groove 18b.
a, and the opening side is arranged so as to be in close contact with the partition plate 19. In other words, when assembling, the motor 16 is fixed to the fan casing 18, the fan casing 17 is assembled to the fan casing 18, and the fan 14.15 is fixed to the rotating shaft of the motor 16.The assembly is shown by arrow A in FIG. Therefore, since the fan casing 17 has heat insulating properties, it goes without saying that sweating does not occur, and since the fan casing 17 is supported by the fan casing 18, there is no need for separate parts such as a support plate, a mounting plate, and a fixing plate. Further, since the motor 16 is also fixed to the fan casing 18 made of hard plastic, a separate angle for the motor 16 is not required.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the fan casing made of molded heat insulating material is combined with the fan casing made of hard resin, and both are fixed by fixing the latter fan casing. Does not require support members, etc., reduces weight and prevents sweating,
Since the motor is also fixed to the latter fan casing, there is no need for an angle for the motor, resulting in further weight reduction, and the reduction in the number of parts simplifies assembly and has significant benefits in terms of cost reduction. It is something that can produce.
