Conventionally, the tendency of synthetic resin rain gutters to expand and contract in the longitudinal direction due to heat has been absorbed by using expandable joints at the joints between the rain gutters, or by molding the rain gutters. Countermeasures were taken, such as making the rain gutter itself difficult to deform, expand and contract by integrally enclosing iron plates, wire mesh, etc. within the thickness of the rain gutter. In the latter case, the rigidity of iron plates, wire mesh, etc. is added, and the mechanical strength of the rain gutter, such as shear resistance and impact resistance, is increased, so it is widely adopted, but the actual nature of such a rain gutter is When embedding and molding reinforcing cores made of iron plates or wire mesh, which are materials different from synthetic resin, there is a cumbersome process in which the surface of the reinforcing core must be properly treated and an appropriate adhesive must be applied. However, it was also true that problems still remained, such as the weight of the rain gutter itself being increased, and the reinforcing core at the cut end surface easily rusting and corroding.

Embodiments of the present invention will be explained based on the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal sectional perspective view of a typical embodiment of the invention, Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of the line in Fig. A longitudinal sectional perspective view of the adopted base material, and FIG. 4 is a longitudinal sectional perspective view of another embodiment. That is, the gist of the present invention is a fiber that is divided vertically and horizontally in the area direction by impregnated zones 11 of thermoplastic or thermosetting synthetic resin, and in which synthetic rubber or resin-modified synthetic rubber is impregnated and carried within the divided areas 12. A rain gutter made of reinforced synthetic resin, characterized in that the reinforcing layer 1 is made of a solid base material 10, and the reinforcing layer 1 is integrally formed in a sandwich-like manner within the thickness of a thermoplastic or thermosetting synthetic resin molded product 2. Figure 1 shows a semicircular eaves gutter T.
The reinforcing layer 1 made of the base material 10 is integrally enclosed within its thickness. The reinforcing layer 1 includes a fibrous base material 10 to be described later, a synthetic resin impregnated band 11 that divides the base material 10 vertically and horizontally in the area direction, and a synthetic resin impregnated and supported in the divided area 12 by the impregnated band 11. It consists of a rubber impregnated region 12'. The fibrous base material 10 is paper such as kraft paper, linter paper, paperboard, and Japanese paper, or inorganic fibers such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, asbestos fiber, and gypsum fiber, or organic fiber such as polyester fiber, nylon fiber, and polyvinyl fiber. Chops of fibers, nonwoven fabrics, woven fabrics, matte, which are processed products thereof, and even those obtained by mixing the various types of fibers mentioned above at the time of making the paper are used. Among these, papers such as kraft paper and linter paper are most preferable because they have a large absorption capacity of resin and synthetic rubber, have appropriate "firmness", and are lightweight and inexpensive. However, in order to thicken the reinforcing layer 1 and further improve its mechanical strength, it is possible to stack multiple layers, and the reinforcing layer 1 may be laminated with layers of the same type or different types. These combination base materials shall be selected as appropriate in view of the required strength.

The synthetic resin impregnated bands 11 that divide the base material 10 vertically and horizontally in the area direction are made of a solution type thermosetting resin raw material such as phenol resin, melamine resin, epoxy resin, urea resin, unsaturated polyester resin, diallyl phthalate resin, etc. Resin liquids or emulsion type resin liquids of partially modified resins of these resins, or thermoplastic resins such as vinyl acetate resin, acrylic resin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, and solution type, emulsion type resins of these modified resins, etc. A latex type resin liquid is transferred onto the surface area of the base material 10 so as to appropriately draw a desired partitioned pattern using a roll coater method, and is impregnated into the thickness of the fibrous material, and solidified or hardened by drying or heating. It is formed by letting In FIG. 3, this impregnated zone 11 is formed in a lattice shape, thereby showing that a plurality of independent rectangular sections 12 are formed at intervals in the surface area of the base material 10. On the other hand, the synthetic rubber raw materials to be impregnated and supported in this divided area 12 include butadiene acrylonitrile (NBR) latex, to which crosslinking agents such as melamine and phenol are added, as well as vulcanizing agents such as sulfur and zinc white. chloroprene latex, methyl butadiene methacrylate (MBR) latex, urethane resin emulsion, etc., and mixtures thereof are used. In addition, these synthetic rubber latexes (emulsions) are used.
micro wax for the purpose of improving water resistance,
Fluororesin latex, vinylidene chloride latex, epoxy resin latex, silicone emulsion, alkyd resin, tung oil, rosin-modified resin, water glass, etc. should be added as appropriate, and furthermore, deterioration inhibitors, reinforcing agents, fillers, and repellents should be added. It is also possible to adjust the properties of the synthetic rubber as appropriate by adding a water agent, a softener, etc. When the base material 10 is immersed in such a synthetic rubber latex (emulsion) and dried and solidified, the synthetic rubber is impregnated within the thickness of the divided area 12, and the impregnated area 12' of synthetic rubber is supported between the fibers. is formed. In addition, contrary to the above, it is also possible to form the impregnated zones 12' by the transfer method and then form the impregnated zone 11 by the dipping method.
These are appropriately selected depending on the conditions.

The base material 10 thus prepared is molded into an eaves gutter shape by a roll molding machine or the like, and the inside and outside of the base material 10 is either coated with a molten extrusion material of a thermoplastic resin or coated with a liquid thermosetting resin by spraying or dipping and then heated and hardened to obtain an eaves gutter T in which the base material 10 is encapsulated as a reinforcing layer 1 within the thickness of a synthetic resin molded product 2 as shown in Figures 1 and 2. When forming this molded product 2, the resin of the reinforcing layer 1 is solidified or hardened by the melting heat of the thermoplastic resin or by heating to harden the thermosetting resin, so that the reinforcing layer 1 and the molded product 2 are solidified or hardened.
The interfacial adhesion with the resin becomes good, and the two can exhibit firm adhesion.

In the eaves gutter T having the above structure, the fibrous base material 10 impregnated and supported with synthetic rubber and synthetic resin is integrally enclosed within the thickness of the synthetic resin molded product 2 as the reinforcing layer 1. Therefore, expansion, contraction, and deformation in the longitudinal and width directions due to heat of the eaves gutter T are prevented as much as possible, and the bending strength and shear strength are also reinforced by the strength of the base material 10, and the base material 10 Due to the unique elasticity of the synthetic rubber impregnated and supported on the material, the impact resistance strength can be effectively improved. Moreover, although synthetic rubber has some drawbacks in water resistance,
... is impregnated and supported by the impregnated zone 11, so that the impregnated zone 11 prevents any further water from penetrating from the cut end surface of the eaves gutter T. Even if there is a synthetic rubber impregnated region 12' in the cut end, swelling due to water absorption may occur only in a very limited part of the cut end and will not spread to the entire eaves gutter T. As a result, the effects brought about by the synthetic rubber described above are permanently maintained. In addition, even though the fibrous base material 10, which is the substance of the reinforcing layer 1, is a different material from the synthetic resin molded product 2, it supports synthetic rubber and synthetic resin.
The interfacial adhesion between the two is strong, and in addition, it is lightweight and
In addition to being inexpensive, there is no concern that the cut end of the eaves gutter T will rust and rot.Furthermore, the reinforcing layer 1 can be colored or given a colorful pattern, and the synthetic resin molded product 2 can be transparent. The use of resin also has the added advantage of providing an optically unique design.

The base material 10 shown in FIG. 4 is not much different from the above except that the manner in which the impregnated zone 11 is formed is slightly different. However, the characteristic feature of this example is that the base material 10 is slightly wider on both sides in the width direction. The impregnated zone 11 is present.
That is, when such a base material 10 is used as the reinforcing layer 1 of the eaves gutter T as shown in FIG. For this type of eaves gutter, where the ears have a large effect on the overall strength, the synthetic rubber impregnated area 12' has slightly inferior mechanical strength such as bending resistance and shear resistance.
The reinforcing effect is greater than when the impregnated band 11 is made of a thermosetting resin, and in particular, the reinforcing effect is further increased if the impregnated zone 11 is made of a thermosetting resin.
On the other hand, a synthetic rubber impregnated area 12' by this impregnated zone 11

Although the above description has been made using a semicircular eaves gutter as an example, it goes without saying that the present invention can also be applied to a square eaves gutter, a vertical gutter, or even a gutter. Furthermore, whether the synthetic resin that constitutes the impregnated zone 11 and the molded product 2 is a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin is appropriately selected depending on the required strength, productivity, etc. of the rain gutter. It is something that

As mentioned above, the synthetic resin rain gutter of the present invention is one in which a fibrous base material on which synthetic rubber and synthetic resin are supported is integrally enclosed as a reinforcing layer within its thickness. It effectively prevents deformation and expansion/contraction caused by the rubber, reinforces mechanical strength, and improves impact resistance due to the inherent elasticity of synthetic rubber. Consideration has also been taken to supplement the water resistance of synthetic rubber, and it is lightweight.・It has many advantages such as being inexpensive and having no concerns about rust, and its utility value is extremely large.
