Technical background of the invention In conventional two-tub washing machines, the outer box is placed and fixed on the base, and then the tub body, which is an integrated washing tank and dewatering tank, is inserted into the outer box from above. Some devices have a structure that allows for the adoption of a rational assembly method in which the operation box is placed on top of the outer box. However, connecting the drain hose requires assembling the base, outer box, tub body, and operation box to a near-complete state, then tilting the washing machine forward and inserting your hand from the bottom of the base to connect the hose to the drain port. I had no choice but to be in this situation.

Purpose of the invention The present invention was made in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and its purpose is to make the assembly work of the drainage channel extremely easy, and to prevent the deflection of the tub body due to the load of water and the gap between the washing motor and the washing pulley. An object of the present invention is to provide a drain channel device for a two-tub washing machine that can prevent belt tension from decreasing.

Embodiment of the invention An embodiment of the invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 is a rectangular frame-shaped base integrally molded from plastic, and the washing motor mounting base 2
It has a dewatering motor mount part 3 and legs 4 integrally, and a flange part 6 is formed around the periphery to receive the outer box 5 in a placed state and fix it by screws or the like. 7 is a back cover that closes the inspection opening 5a of the outer box 5. Reference numeral 8 denotes a tub body formed by integrating a washing tank 9 and a dewatering tank 10 by integral molding of plastic, and in one corner of the side of the washing tank 9 adjacent to the dehydrating tank 10, this part is vertically extended outwardly. A bulging-shaped overflow drain chamber 11 is formed, and a washing side drain port 1 is provided at the bottom of the overflow drain chamber 11.
2, and a dewatering side drain port 14, which communicates with a drainage recess 13 formed vertically in a portion adjacent to the overflow drain chamber 11 in the dewatering receiving tank 10, is located close to the washing side drain port 12. Furthermore, a short cylindrical portion 15 surrounding both of these drain ports 12 and 14 is formed. Reference numeral 16 denotes a drain cylinder, which has a substantially conical shape with a tapered fitting part 16a extending vertically, and a groove 16b formed in the middle of the fitting part 16a. A ring-shaped packing 17 is held on this. Such a drainage cylinder 16 is fitted onto the outer periphery of the short cylindrical part 15 with its upper end opening coated with adhesive on its inner surface, and finally becomes able to communicate with the inside of the tub body 8. Accordingly, a receiving frame portion 18 having a raised shape with a flat upper surface is integrally formed in a portion of the base 1 corresponding to the drain cylinder 16, and this receiving frame portion 18
is integrally formed with a hose connection cylinder 19 having an opening on its upper surface. This hose connection cylinder part 19 has a structure in which the opening surface at the upper end is shaped like a lug and has a large diameter so that the drain cylinder body 16 provided on the tub body 8 can be fitted therein, and the lower end is cylindrical. A drainage hose 20 can be connected to this. Further, an opening 21 for passage of a drainage hose 20 is formed on the side surface of the receiving frame 18. On the other hand, in the washing tank, reference numeral 22 denotes a movable frame having an annular valve body 23 at its lower end that approaches and separates from the periphery of the washing side drain port 12. An overflow pipe 27, which serves as an overflow channel member and whose lower end communicates with the annular valve body 23, is held in an upright state, and is operated up and down by a knob 25 via an interlocking mechanism 26. The overflow drainage chamber 11 in which such an overflow drainage mechanism 28 is arranged is partitioned off from the washing section by a drainage strainer 29 and an overflow strainer 30 arranged above and below. Note that 31 is a washing pulley rotated via a belt 32 by a washing motor (not shown), and 33 is a stirring blade.

In the above configuration, the assembly order among the base 1, outer box 5, tub body 8, drain hose 20, and operation box 24 is as follows. That is, first, the drain hose 20 is connected to the lower end of the hose connection cylinder part 19 formed on the base 1, and its tip is left in a state where it is led out from the base 1. Next, after placing and fixing the outer box 5 on the base 1, the tub body 8 is inserted into the outer box 5 from above, and then the operation box 24 is placed and fixed on the tub body 8. . In such an assembly, in the process of inserting the tub main body 8 into the outer box 5 from above, the drain cylinder 16 protruding downward from the outer bottom of the tub main body 8 is removed.
The tip including the fitting part 16a is the hose connecting cylinder part 19.
from the upper surface thereof, and the packing 17 connects the two in a watertight manner. Insertion in this case is difficult because the drain cylinder 16 is tapered at the end and the upper end of the hose connection cylinder 19 is tapered.
This is done smoothly by the guiding action between them.

According to the above, the drainage hose 20 is connected to the base 1.
Since this is carried out on the drain cylinder 16, the connection work becomes extremely easy since the base 1 is handled as a single unit.
In addition, communication between the tub body 8 and the drain hose 20 is automatically established when the drain tubular body 16 enters and fits into the hose connecting tubular portion 19 during the process of inserting the tub body 8 into the outer box 5 from above. Therefore, no special manual labor is required.

Further, the tank portion of the tub body 8 and the base 1 are mechanically connected and reinforced by the fitting between the drain cylinder 16 and the hose connection cylinder 19. Therefore, deflection of the tub body 8 due to the load of water and a decrease in the tension of the belt 32 placed between the wash motor pulley and the wash pulley 31 can be prevented.

Further, according to the above configuration, the washing side drain port 12 joins the dewatering side drain port 14 in the drain cylinder body 16, but is structured so that it can be opened and closed independently by the annular valve body 23, so that the dewatering operation can be stopped. You can do this at the same time as driving without any problems.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment. For example, the drain cylinder body has a washing side drain port and a dewatering side drain port independently, and the openings for receiving these are connected to the hose connecting cylinder part. In some cases, the present invention may be applied only to the drainage means of the washing tank.
