A coarse net-like connecting material 2 made of water-resistant paper or the like is attached to the back surface of a large number of unit tiles 1 arranged with a desired joint spacing, and the tiles are integrally connected. The back surface of this unit tile B is not smooth because the back surface itself of the unit tile 1 is not smooth, and unevenness is formed due to the thickness of the attached net-like connecting material 2. The adhesive layer did not adhere well when attached to the adhesive layer, and there were parts on the back side of the unit tile B that did not adhere to the adhesive layer. In such a case, a problem arises in that not only the entire unit tile B but also each unit tile 1 has poor adhesive strength. In particular, if such a unit tile B is attached to a place where it will be exposed to hot water for a long period of time, such as a bathroom, the hot water will penetrate into the interface between the adhesive layer and the back surface of the tile, where the adhesion is insufficient, and the unit tile 1 will be damaged. There was a risk that it would peel off. As described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-11027, unit tiles are made by impregnating a non-woven fabric with resin or mortar in an area approximately equal to the area occupied by a large number of array tiles, and applying this to the back surface of the array tiles. Some are attached to. However, since the back surface of the nonwoven fabric was rough, this product had the same problem as the unit tile B described above. Although it is possible to solve such problems to some extent by using a pressing device or the like to firmly adhere the unit tile to the surface to be adhered,
If such a device is used at a construction site, it will actually impair work efficiency. In particular, it is almost impossible to bring a pressing device into a bathroom or the like for work.

The first embodiment is as shown in FIG. 2 when viewed in plan from the front side, and as shown in FIG. 3 when viewed in cross section along the - line in FIG. 2. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the unit tile A of the first embodiment uses the same connected tiles as the conventional unit tile B shown in FIG. 1. In addition,
In the present invention, the reason why a unit tile similar to the conventional unit tile B is called a connected tile is that it is used as a component of the unit tile of the present invention. The connecting tiles are made by arranging a large number of unit tiles (nine in this example) in a rectangular manner with a desired joint spacing between them, and pasting a net-like connecting material 2 on the back side of the arranged tiles to connect them together. It is something. A base layer 3 for adhesion is adhered to the back side of this connected tile. What is important for the base layer 3 is that its area is the same as or slightly larger than the area of the connecting tiles, and that the entire surface of the adhesive back surface 4 on the side that is not bonded to the connecting tiles is covered with the adhesive of the substrate to which it is attached. The surface is smooth so that it blends in well. The base layer 3 is the unit tile 1 in FIG.
It can be glimpsed from the joint spacing between the two. The adhesive used to form the base layer 3 is appropriately selected from organic adhesives such as urethane-based and epoxy-based, or rubber-based and acrylic-based adhesives. base layer 3
It is preferable to keep the thickness of the base layer 3 thin, such as 0.2 to 0.5 mm.In the layout when pasting to the board, it may be necessary to cut the unit tile of the present invention and use it. If you leave it there, cutting will be easier. Furthermore, if the base layer 3 is formed thinly, it has good adaptability to the surface to which it is adhered.

にある。 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of the unit tile of the present invention. In the connecting tile used in the second embodiment, the connecting strip 2a is pasted along the vertical (or horizontal) joints on the back side, and the unit tile 1 is pasted on the part where the connecting strip 2a is not pasted. Square piece-like connecting members 2b are pasted on the outer side of the opposing sides to connect the array tiles together. FIG. 4 is a plan view of the unit tile A1 of the second embodiment as viewed from the front side, and FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along the line - in FIG. The main difference between the unit tile A1 of the second embodiment and the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is that the lengths of the vertical and horizontal sides of the base layer 3 are The joint-equivalent extension portion 5 is made longer than the length by an amount corresponding to the joint spacing, respectively.
5' is formed, and the area is made wider by that amount than the area of the connected tiles. and base layer 3
The joint-equivalent extensions 5, 5' are made to protrude linearly along the side edges of the connecting tiles, and are adhered so as to completely cover the back surfaces of the connecting tiles. As can be seen from the proposed unit tile A of the first embodiment and the proposed unit tile A 1 of the second embodiment, the main point of the present invention is to adhere the base layer 3 for adhesive construction to the entire back surface of the connected tiles. The adhesive back surface 4 of the obtained unit tile of the present invention is made into a smooth surface that is compatible with the adhesive layer provided on the substrate to be adhered.

First, a release plate 6 whose surface has been smoothly released by pasting release paper or a polyethylene sheet or applying silicone resin, and a connecting tile A 0
A peripheral frame 7 suitable for the size of is prepared. Next, a fluid liquid of an organic adhesive or pressure-sensitive adhesive that will become the base layer 3 for adhesive application is poured into the space 8 surrounded by the peripheral frame 7, and is applied thinly and uniformly. Press connected tile A 0 upwards. After the fluidized liquid has solidified to form the base layer 3, the release plate 6 and the peripheral frame 7 are peeled off, and the connected tile A 0
By cutting off the burrs protruding from the periphery of the unit tile A of the first embodiment, the unit tile A of the present invention can be obtained. In this case, since the base layer 3 is solidified on the upper surface of the release plate 6 which has been subjected to a smooth release treatment, the adhesive back surface 4
is extremely smooth. When manufacturing the unit tile A1 of the second embodiment, a release plate 6 and a peripheral frame 7 that are large enough for the joint-equivalent extensions 5, 5' are prepared, and the rest are the same as in the first embodiment. It can be manufactured using a similar procedure.

In the substrate 9 to which the unit tile A of the first embodiment is attached, joint bars 11 are provided on one side of the base material 10, which is the main material, at intervals corresponding to one unit tile A of the invention. An adhesive layer 12 of acrylic, rubber, etc. is coated on the surface of the area other than the joint bar 11, and a release paper 13 is adhered to the surface of the adhesive layer 12. The substrate 9 configured in this way is fixed to the rim 14 with nails 15, etc., and then the release paper 13 is peeled off, and the lower edge of the unit tile A of the present invention is brought into contact with the joint crosspiece 11, and the horizontal direction is The joints are adjusted, and the adhesive layer 12 is then manually pressed and adhered. The construction method for the proposed unit tile A1 of the second embodiment is carried out in the same manner, but in this case, the joint-equivalent extensions 5, 5' protruding from the side edges of the connected tiles are connected to other adjacent proposed unit tiles A1 . Since it regulates the joint width between the base plate 9 and the base plate 9, it is not necessary to provide the joint crosspiece 11 on the substrate 9.

Even if this is used for construction on walls that will be wet with hot water for a long period of time, such as in bathrooms, hot water will not infiltrate the bonding boundary surface, and therefore, not only individual unit tiles, but also the proposed unit tiles. It does not peel off. Moreover, its waterproof effect also contributes to the reinforcement of the unit tile itself. Furthermore, in the case of the unit tile of the present invention using a base layer provided with an expanded portion corresponding to a joint, the expanded portion corresponding to a joint also enhances the waterproofing effect of the joint portion (seam) between unit tiles. Furthermore, since the unit tile of the present invention is constructed using connected tiles, the tiles are arranged in an orderly manner, and therefore, an orderly finished tile wall surface can be obtained.
