[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention is designed to prevent smoke leakage from the enclosure even when charging raw materials to the arc furnace by making the bucket for charging raw materials a part of the wall of the enclosure. west,
This invention relates to an enclosure for an arc furnace that further improves the working environment.

In recent years, while the energy situation has worsened, regulations on improving the work environment and preventing pollution have become even more stringent, and the operating environment for steelmaking arc furnaces is extremely harsh.

During the operation of an arc furnace for steelmaking, the smoke and dust generated from the arc furnace significantly deteriorates the working environment.
Therefore, if we try to prevent such pollution by collecting dust from buildings, steel factories have many openings.
Dust collectors suck in a large amount of air in addition to smoke. Therefore,
Since a large amount of air must be exhausted, a large fan is required, which increases equipment costs and operation and maintenance costs. In addition, arc furnaces for steelmaking generate loud noises of up to 120 dBA, which can cause occupational diseases such as hearing loss.

Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, the entire arc furnace was enclosed in an enclosure to prevent the leakage of smoke and dust, and to insulate the noise until normal conversation was possible. This has been significantly improved, and it has become possible to reduce the exhaust air volume by more than half.

To explain such a conventional enclosure with reference to FIG. 1, an enclosure main body a surrounding an arc furnace has an opening b through which a bucket passes when raw materials are introduced into the arc furnace, and a wire for suspending the bucket. An opening c is provided through which the rope passes, and large doors d and e are attached to these openings b and c.

The opening b through which the bucket passes is large, and
Since the opening c through which the wire rope passes is located directly above the arc furnace where smoke is generated most intensely, the working environment deteriorates due to smoke leakage when charging raw materials.

To prevent smoke leakage when charging raw materials, either install ducts around openings b and c to absorb smoke with a large air volume, or install air curtains near openings b and c to prevent smoke leakage. However, it is not possible to completely prevent smoke leakage. In particular, when refitting, a large amount of combustible material containing impurities is thrown into the high-temperature furnace, and a large amount of smoke is emitted, causing a large amount of smoke to be blown up by the rising air, making it extremely difficult to prevent this with smoke suction or air curtains. be.

Since there must be no obstacles in the way of the wire rope suspending the bucket over the arc furnace, it is not possible to pass the upper beam through point f in Figure 1, and the enclosure therefore lacks rigidity. and
This is economically disadvantageous because the rigidity of other members must be increased.

It is necessary to pass the bucket accurately through the opening b, and if the operation is incorrect, there is a risk that the enclosure will be damaged due to a collision.

It is also possible to house the crane itself for transporting buckets within the enclosure, but in this case, even though the opening and door in the ceiling are unnecessary, the door in the side wall would be very large, making it uneconomical. Moreover, it takes time to operate due to the large door, and it is not possible to prevent smoke leakage.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional arc furnace enclosure, and provides an arc furnace enclosure that completely prevents smoke leakage, has sufficient rigidity, and has good operability. It was made for the purpose of
If an opening is provided in the wall close to the arc furnace of an enclosure main body that houses an arc furnace inside and has a dust collection duct above the internal space, and raw materials are not charged outside the opening in the wall, It is a wall that stands upright and closes the opening, and has one surface that slopes and becomes a sliding surface for the raw material when charging the raw material into the arc furnace. When it stands upright, it serves as an inlet for introducing raw material into the interior, and when it is tilted, it serves as an inlet for discharging the raw material. A generally square-shaped charging bucket equipped with an inlet/outlet serving as an outlet is used. When charging raw materials, one side is sloped downward toward the arc furnace with the inlet/outlet facing downward, and the other side of the square-shaped The enclosure is characterized in that it is rotatably provided so as to close the opening of the enclosure main body.

An opening 3 is provided on the material introduction side of the enclosure main body 2 that surrounds the arc furnace 1, a bearing 5 is mounted on a support 4 erected near the opening 3, and a drive such as a hydraulic cylinder is attached to the bearing 5. A generally square-shaped charging bucket 7 which can be rotated up and down by a device 6 is pivotally mounted, and a dust collection duct 8 is provided at a position above the arc furnace 1 inside the enclosure main body 2. The charging bucket 7 has an inlet/outlet 7a which becomes a raw material inlet when it is upright and a raw material outlet when it is tilted, and a raw material sliding surface 7b becomes a part of the enclosure wall surface as shown in FIG. 2 when it is upright. In addition, when charging raw materials, as shown in FIG. 3, the raw material sliding surface 7b and other surfaces 7c, 7d, and 7e of the charging bucket 7 become part of the walls of the enclosure, allowing smoke to flow from the enclosure to the outside. It is designed to prevent leakage. In the figure, 1a is a furnace lid, and 9 is a gap created between the charging bucket 7 and the enclosure main body 2 when raw materials are charged by the charging bucket 7.

Using a crane (not shown), as shown in FIG. 2, raw materials are charged from the introduction/discharge port 7a into the charging bucket 7 in an upright state with the raw material sliding surface 7b blocking the opening 3, and the furnace lid 1a is opened. The charging bucket 7 is rotated inward by the drive device 6 so that it is tilted downward toward the arc furnace 1, and the tip of the charging bucket 7 is positioned above the arc furnace 1, and the raw material is introduced into the discharge port 7.
It is charged into the arc furnace 1 from a. During this work,
The smoke leaking into the enclosure from the upper surface of the arc furnace 1 is sucked by the dust collection duct 8 and the amount thereof is small, and the smoke leaks from the top surface of the arc furnace 1 into the enclosure, and the amount thereof is small.
Since the opening 3 is mostly closed by 7e and the gap 9 is small, smoke does not leak out of the enclosure from the gap 9. The raw materials charged into the charging bucket 7 and charged into the arc furnace 1 include scrap, auxiliary raw materials, and the like.
