In the figure, 1 is an ink jet head, 2 is an ink supply pipe, 3 is a vibrator, 4 is a nozzle hole, 5 is a charging electrode, 6a and 6b are deflection electrodes, 7 is a gutter, and 8 is a recording paper. The ink in the ink jet head 1 is pressurized and excited to be ejected from the nozzle hole 4, and the ink liquid column 9 ejected from the nozzle hole 4 is separated into ink droplets at the charging electrode 5. The ink droplet is given a charge according to the printing information signal, and the charged ink droplet 10 is deflected by the deflection electrodes 6a, 6b according to the amount of charge to reproduce information on the recording paper 8, while not being used for printing. The uncharged ink droplets 11 are captured and recovered by the gutter 7 and are used again.

Now, when the inkjet recording device is powered on by a power switch (not shown), the power-on is detected by an integrating circuit consisting of a resistor R1 and a capacitor C1 , and the output terminal of the power-on detection circuit 20 is turned on. The signal becomes high level (see Figure 2 A), and 2
The monomultis 21 and 22 are operated. After the time (t 1 ) determined by the resistor R 3 and the capacitor C 3 has elapsed, the signal at the output terminal of the monomulti 21 becomes high level (see FIG. 2B), and the ink starts to be ejected. Furthermore, the signal at the output terminal of the monomulti 22 becomes high level ( second
(see Figure C), start excitation of the vibrator.

After that, the vibrator is excited after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, and ink jetting and vibrator excitation are not performed at the same time, which reduces ink scattering when the power is turned on, and thus reduces the Ink stains on members can be reduced.

This can be easily carried out using a counting means. In addition, although the case when the power is turned on has been explained above, when the power is turned off, the procedure is the reverse of the above, that is, the excitation of the vibrator is stopped, and after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, the ink jetting is stopped. For example, it is possible to prevent ink stains when the power is turned off.
