入して、第2図乃至第5図に示すように順次その
曲げ角度を増して曲げ加工を行なつていたが、次
のような問題が生じていた。

位置決め用に配設されたガイドであり、その直後
には反転ローラ8が、さらにその後方にスポンジ
中空部6aを倒すための円錘ローラ9がウエザス
トリツプ6の走行方向に対し傾斜して配設されて
いる。10と11は上記円錘ローラ9の直後に上
下に配設された第1上ローラと第1下ローラであ
り、この1対のローラにはウエザストリツプ6の
平坦な基部の中央部をコ字状に曲折するための準
備段階としてV字状に曲折する凹部11a、及び
凸部10aが形成され、第1上ローラ10はシヤ
フト12を介してピストンシリンダ13のロツド
に連結され、上下動可能である(第10図)。第
1下ローラ11は駆動ローラとなつている。14
は第1下ローラの次に配設された駆動型の第2下
ローラ11の次に配設された駆動型の第2下ロー
ラであり、中心部に第1下ローラ11とほぼ同様
な凹部14aを有する。15と16は、第2下ロ
ーラ14の上に位置し、第2下ローラ14の回転
軸に対しある角度をもつてハンガーブロツク17
に軸支された従動型の第2上ローラである。この
2個の第2上ローラ15,16のローラ形状はウ
エザストリツプ6の基部6cの側面に垂直に当接
して基部6cをある角度だけ曲折するように形成
され、ハンガーブロツク17はピストンシリンダ
18のロツドに連結され、上下動可能である(第
11図)。19は第2下ローラ14の次に配設さ
れた駆動型の第3下ローラであり、その形状は第

部19aを形成している。第3下ローラ19の上
には第2上ローラ15,16と同様な第3上ロー
ラ20,21がハンガーブロツク22に軸支され

の次には第4下ローラ24と2個の第4上ローラ
25,26が前段のローラと同様に配設され、そ
