Description
本発明は、疎水性シリコンオイルを含有する
O/W型エマルジヨン化粧料に係り、特に、O/
W型エマルジヨン系における疎水性シリコーンオ
イルの微粒化を改善した化粧料に関する。
疎水性シリコーンオイルは、皮膚や毛髪の表面
に均一な薄膜を形成し、なめらかさを付与する油
相成分として、各種化粧料に多用されている。し
かし、一般に疎水性シリコーンオイルは他の油相
成分との相溶性が悪いため、乳化や分散を行なつ
ても微粒化し難い。O/W型エマルジヨン化粧料
中において、疎水性シリコーンオイルの微粒化
(例えば4μm以下)が達成されないと、疎水性
シリコーンオイルの粒子同士が結合を起し易く、
乳化系の上層部に浮遊したり、下層部に沈降した
りするなど、化粧料の安定性が著しく劣化してし
まう。また、疎水性シリコーンオイルの粒子が大
きいと、皮膚や毛髪の表面に均一な薄膜を形成し
難く、滑沢性等の化粧料の性能を劣化させてしま
う。逆に、疎水性シリコーンオイルが微粒化され
ると、O/W型エマルジヨン系の安定性が良好と
なり、また皮膚や毛髪に対する親和性も増し、化
粧性の特性の向上が認められる。従つて、浮化・
分散化粧料において、疎水性シリコーンオイルを
微粒化することが望まれていた。
本発明は、このような事情の下になされたもの
であつて、O/W型エマルジヨン系中の疎水性シ
リコーンオイルの微粒化を達成し、もつてその系
の安定性を向上させ、滑沢性等の優れた性能を有
する化粧料を提供することを目的とする。
本発明の化粧料は、0.01〜5重量%の疎水性シ
リコーンオイルと、0.1〜50重量%のポリオキシ
アルキレン変性ポリシロキサンとを含有すること
を特徴とする。
本発明の第1の必須成分である疎水性シリコー
ンオイルとは、25℃の水に対する溶解度が1重量
%以下、好ましくは0.5重量%以下であり、25℃
における粘度が1〜1000センチストークス、好ま
しくは5〜500センチストークスのものである。
このような疎水性シリコーンオイルの具体例とし
て、下記のものがある。
Γ メチルポリシロキサン
下記一般式で表わされ、1〜1000センチストー
クス(25℃)の粘度を有するもの。
(CH3)3SiO〔(CH3)2SiC〕oSi(CH3)3
n=3〜350
Γ メチルフエニルポリシロキサン
下記一般式で表わされ、10〜1000センチストー
クス(25℃)の粘度を有するもの。
Γ 脂肪酸変性ポリシロキサン
下記一般式で表わされ、10〜1000センチストー
クス(25℃)の粘度を有するもの。
Γ 脂肪族アルコール変性ポリシロキサン
下記一般式で表わされ、10〜1000センチストー
クス(25℃)の粘度を有するもの。
本発明の第2の必須成分であるポリオキシアル
キレン変性ポリシロキサンとは、下記一般式で表
わされ、10〜1000センチストークス(25℃)の粘
度を有し、25℃の水に対する溶解度が0.5重量%
以上、好ましくは2重量%以上である親水性ポリ
オキシアルキレン変性ポリシロキサンである。
(p=1〜5、Rは水素、又は炭素数1〜5の
アルキル基、x=1〜70、y=0〜50、m=3〜
50、n=5〜50)
疎水性シリコーンオイルの配合量は、化粧料全
体に対し0.01〜5重量%、好ましくは0.05〜3重
量%である。0.01重量%未満では、滑沢性が不十
分となり、5重量%を越えると油性感の強い仕上
りとなり、好ましくない。
ポリオキシアルキレン変性ポリシロキサンの配
合量は0.1〜50重量%、好ましくは0.5〜30重量%
である。0.1重量%未満では疎水性シリコーンオ
イルの微粒化の達成が困難となり、50重量%を越
えると滑沢性が劣化し、好ましくない。
疎水性シリコーンオイルとポリオキシアルキレ
ン変性ポリシロキサンとの配合比は、1/1〜
1/5であるのが好ましい。
本発明の化粧料には、上述の必須成分の他に、
下記の任意成分と本発明の効果に影響のない範囲
で配合してもよい。即ち、そのような任意成分と
して、流動パラフイン、ワセリン、固型パラフイ
ン、スクワラン及びオレフインオリゴマー等の炭
化水素;イソプロピルミリステート,イソプロピ
ルパルミテート,ステアリルステアレート,ミリ
スチン酸オクチルドデシル,オレイン酸オクチル
ドデシル及び2―エチルヘキサン酸トリグリセラ
イド等のエステル;ポリオキシエチレンセチルエ
ーテル,ポリオキシエチレンステアリン酸エステ
ル及びポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノラウレ
ート等の乳化剤;塩化ベンザルコニウム,塩化セ
チルトリメチルアンモニウム,塩化セトステアリ
ルトリメチルアンモニウム,塩化ステアリルトリ
メチルアンモニウム,塩化ベヘニルトリメチルア
ンモニウム,塩化ジステアリルジメチルアンモニ
ウム、モノN―長鎖アシル塩基性アミノ酸低級ア
ルキルエステル塩等のカチオン界面活性剤;N―
(2―ヒドロキシエチル)―N―〔ビス(2―カ
ルボキシエチル)アミノエチル〕ラウリルアマイ
ドジナトリウム塩,2―ココイル―N―カルボキ
シメチル―N―ヒドロキシエチルイミダゾリウム
ベタイン等の両性界面活性剤;高級アルコールサ
ルフエート,アルコールエーテルサルフエート,
α―オレフインスルホネート等のアニオン界面活
性剤;ラウリルアルコール,セチルアルコール,
ステアリルアルコール,ベヘニルアルコール等の
高級アルコール;パルミチン酸,ステアリン酸,
ベヘニン酸等の高級脂肪族;エチレングリコー
ル,プロピレングリコール,1,3―ブチレング
リコール,グリセリン及びソルビトール等の保湿
剤;エタノール等の溶剤;およびその他殺菌剤、
香料等の少量成分がある。
本発明の化粧料は、必須成分である疎水性シリ
コーンオイルとポリオキシ変性ポリシロキサンと
を均一に混合し、、混合物を分散媒に乳化分散
し、その後この分散系に他の基剤を乳化分散する
ことにより製造することが可能である。この場合
の分散媒としては、水、エタノール等を用いるこ
とができる。
本発明の化粧料は、ヘアリンス剤、ヘアコンデ

次に、本発明の実施例と比較例を示し、本発明
の効果を具体的に説明する。なお、各例の説明に
先立つて、各例で採用した試験法について説明す
る。
〔粒子径の評価〕
400倍の倍率での顕微鏡観察により粒子径を測
定し、次の4段階の判定基準により粒子径を評価
した。
2μm以下:◎良好
2〜4μm:○やや良好
4〜7μm:△普通
7μm以上:×劣る
試験例 1
ジメチルポリシロキサンと各種乳化剤を含む22
種の化粧料を調製し、それらの粒子径を観察し、
評価した。
その結果を表―1に示す。なお配合量はいずれ
も重量%である(他の試験例でも同様)。
