In order to achieve such an object, the present invention includes a plate-shaped molded body made of an inorganic material and a conductive material dispersed therein, and an energizing means is disposed on the plate-shaped molded body. In the plate-shaped heating element that generates heat when energized, the plate-shaped heating element is characterized in that reinforcing fibers are dispersed in the plate-shaped formed body.

The plate-shaped molded body 2 is made of an inorganic material such as cement mixed with aggregate such as silica sand or coal ash, in which a conductive material and reinforcing fibers 8 are dispersed. Since the reinforcing fibers 8 are dispersed, it can withstand strong pressure applied to the board surface. That is, it has high bending strength and excellent impact resistance. Electric tM! Fj,
3.3 is for supplying electricity to this plate-shaped molded body 2, and is pasted on the opposite end surfaces of the plate-shaped molded body 2 with a conductive adhesive. Note that examples of the conductive material include carbon fibers, carbon blanks, metal fibers, etc., but in order to improve reinforcing properties, it is preferable to use a fibrous material. The reinforcing fibers are not particularly limited, but it is preferable to use glass fibers that are highly corrosion resistant, heat resistant, and moisture resistant.

FIG. 2 shows an example of the use of the plate-shaped heating element according to the present invention in a floor heating system. As shown in the figure, the plate-shaped heating element l is covered with an insulating resin layer 4, and this It is housed in a protective iron box 5, placed on the main drawer 6.6, and used as floor heating. Since the plate-shaped heating element 1 has excellent strength, the protective iron box 5 only needs to have enough strength to protect the insulating resin layer 4. It goes without saying that lead wires connected to a power source are led out from the electrode plates 3, 3 and connected to an external power source, although not shown. In the figure, 7 is a car vent.

The plate-shaped heating element according to the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. During molding of the plate-shaped molded body, two wire mesh electrodes may be embedded in the plate-shaped molded body with a distance maintained in the thickness direction. However, as in the example, it is better to form a plate-shaped molded body and then attach two electrode plates to sandwich the plate-shaped molded body, which allows the product to be thinner and the manufacturing process to be simpler. Therefore, it is preferable. It can also be used to melt snow by laying it on roofs or roads.

As described above, the plate-shaped heating element according to the present invention includes a plate-shaped molded body made of an inorganic material and a conductive material dispersed therein, and the plate-shaped molded body is provided with an energizing means. In the plate-shaped heating element that generates heat when the means is energized, the plate-shaped molded body has reinforcing fibers dispersed therein, so it has excellent strength, especially bending strength and impact resistance. This improves the performance and allows for thinner designs.
