Previously, I used solid steel or honed SS as is, but with these methods, the height was much higher than with BS when using SS and Ti materials for complex shapes. Furthermore, since the material itself is expensive, there are drawbacks such as high processing costs and the need for design constraints.

After applying 2μ, honing is performed to produce a Ti-colored honed surface.

Electrolytic plating was performed to form a tin-cobalt alloy layer of 2 μm, followed by tin-nickel alloy plating, and honing was performed on top of the tin-cobalt alloy layer to obtain a Ti-colored honed tone. Next, the above plating bath and plating conditions will be shown.
