あり、縫合手段の簡単な改良によって従来技術における
問題点を解決できるに至ったのである。

【特許請求の範囲】 縫合方向に直交する水平の回転軸芯まわりで複数組のガ
イドベルトを前記回転軸芯方向に往復移動自在に設けて
成る一対の回転式生地端ガイド装置を、ミシン縫合装置
に対して縫合方向の両側に配置すると共に、該一対の生
地端ガイド装置に被嵌され且つガイドベルトによって回
転軸芯方向後方側に移送された筒状生地の端縁が基準縫
合範囲に入ったときに前記ガイドベルトを駆動停止させ
る生地端縁位置検出機構を設ける一方、前記基準縫合範
囲にある筒状生地の端縁部に弾性ベルトを巻回するベル
ト掛け具と、該ベルト掛け具に巻回された弾性ベルトの
巻回位置を所定通りに規正するベルト位置決め具とを配
置し、次なる工程すなわち、 前記ベルト掛け具に弾性ベルトを巻回すると共に、該弾
性ベルトを前記ベルト位置決め具によって所定位置に規
正する工程と、 前記一対の生地端ガイド装置に筒状生地の端縁部を被嵌
させて該筒状生地の端縁を基準縫合範囲に入れるように
ガイドベルトを前記回転軸芯方向後方側に移動させる工
程と、 前記ベルト掛け具に巻回された弾性ベルトを前記基準縫
合範囲に入った筒状生地の端縁部に重合させるベルト掛
け渡しの工程と、 前記一対の生地端ガイド装置を同期回転させて前記筒状
生地と弾性ベルトとの重合部をミシン縫合装置によって
縫合する工程、 及び、所定の縫合完了後の糸切り後にガイドベルトを回
転軸芯方向前方側に移動させて縫製物を取り出す工程、 以上の工程を経て縫製物を得ることを特徴とする筒状生
地の縫製方法。
