As described above, according to the present invention, a V-shaped notch is provided in a part of the peripheral portion of the cylindrical fabric, and the fabric edge of the tubular fabric is controlled while controlling the fabric edge through a raw control member. In the method of sewing a tape-like material to the first, the edge of the tubular material from the notch portion to the rear position is folded back to the tubular material side, and the folded portion is located outside the presser foot side. Then, the cutout portion is bitten under the presser foot, and the tape-like cloth is sequentially sewn to the edge of the tubular cloth, and when the tape-like cloth at the leading end of the sewing reaches the rear position of the presser foot, the same tape is used. The tape-shaped material is turned over to the cylindrical material side, turned over, and the tape-shaped material is sewn again in sequence. When the cutout goes around once and reaches the front position of the presser foot again, the folded-back tape-shaped material is engaged. Lock the tape-like material with the stop piece and position the folded part outside the presser foot side. By wearing very efficiently it can perform sewing of a tape-like fabric against the tubular fabric having a notch V-shaped, in which automation is enabled.
